Thank you for this amazing channel Cassie! Enjoy it so much ☺️

Face............(contemplation)........................OFF.

Dan M

Pop slash Corn in Bed watching Face slash Off…H.E. double hockey sticks slash yeah!!!

Chris Thom

I appreciate that Nic Cage has a dinosaur skull, shrunken heads, King Cobras and a tomb in his personal collection. It feels right.

Happy Hanukkah

Good luck with the copyright issues. 5:48 Come now, let us not jump to conclusions! 6:25 I have just now, finally, realized why the Nice one deserved to die. :-)

The person responsible for the over-the-top style of the action in this movie is director John Woo, who previously made a name for himself with some classic Hong Kong action movies. I'll take this opportunity to once again request John Woo's Hollywood debut, Hard Target (1993), which is also arguably Jean-Claude Van Damme's best film. The plot is much more straightforward and JCVD is incomparably more stoic than this movie's duo (though Lance Henriksen picks up the slack), but Woo's signature style* is even more prominent. * OK, so we'll have two people, each holding a gun in each hand! And they'll be shooting at each other non-stop! At close range! While flying in the air! In slow motion! And doves!! We must have doves audibly flying in the background! Woo!!!! :-)

Stephen Last

Fun fact: Sean's wife wasn't the only one who is tied to The Notebook. The director of the Notebook was the bald accomplice of Castor who helped Sean/Castor.

Gotta love these insane 90s action movies. So many more good ones to come. Thrilled that you loved it.

He also directed China's biggest smash hit movie (at the time) Red Cliff (2008).

Mike Lemon

"but there are copyright issues." Any chance of resuming the backup Rumble uploads? It's always good to have a hedge against Google's insanity. Plus, I've really been waiting for Maverick.

Dean Bush

Glad you got around to this one, really happy you enjoyed it, my first time watching on patreon. keep up the great content,

Joe

We need more action films like this on a regular basis.

Clarence Newman

Here's a few: The Dirty Dozen (1967) Towering Inferno (1974) Rambo II (1985) Under Siege (1992) Cliffhanger (1993) Daylight (1996) Deep Blue Sea (1999) The Expendables (2010) Heavy on Stallone, for some reason. No bad thing.

Vincent

What a pleasant surprise.

Joe

Some good ones there Clarence. I would add "Copland" in also. I feel action-centric films have been neglected on the channel, seems that way too me.

Andrew Heller

Im so happy you enjoyed it, just cause these kind of movies are mu favorite, just over the top action….should do broken arrow, and 8mm for more travolta and cage craziness and stallone with cliffhanger

Andrew Heller

Copland is so underrated, i would add broken arrow and 8mm (even though 8mm might be intense subject matter for her)

Clarence Newman

I thought of adding Cop Land, Joe, but I figured 4 Stallones out of 8 was enough this time. You're right about the genre. Cassie has enjoyed a lot of them in the past, so why neglect them?

Shin Yeji

This was a crazy movie, but I have to admit I loved it too. Glad you enjoyed it, Cassie.

Jason Henderson

An emotional roller coaster 🎢 !! Over the top action , and an unbelievable plot. Props to Travolta and cage for pulling It ( off )

Jason Henderson

So much to process, It was one crazy ride! Lol

Edward Robson

Being from Michigan, seeing Cassie wearing a lions sweater made this one of my favorite reactions so far lol

Shad Kanyak

I’m mostly confused by Cassie in the Detroit Lions sweat shirt.

Tim W.

Loved your reaction to this really great movie, I would love to also see Carly's reaction to this movie - though I'm pretty sure it would be a tough one for her to make it through , I think she could do it and she would end up loving this movie too just like you!

Carol Rocha

Saw the full- back for the YouTube!

Brad Roberts

Why did you like this so much, you ask? Because John Travolta and Nicholas Cage are both great at these over the top roles and played them very well.

Chris Thom

She was looking for an underdog to support, and someone told her they were the ultimate underdog to root for.

Chris Thom

8mm woah. I saw that one too young and it kinda f'd me up. Lol. Solid thriller though.

Chris Thom
>>164093213

'twas revolutionary. And you always knew the shit had officially hit the fan when the doves start flying.

Brian McGovern

The only thing missing from this movie is the honey glaze because these 2 ham it up big time.

Vincent

You pointed out that the actress playing Eve also played the mother in The Notebook. The guy who plays Dietrich (Sasha's brother) is the director of The Notebook, Nick Cassavetes.

Jackson Harper

Maybe the greatest reaction in the history of this channel.

Mike Amandes

"Now we're in a boat chase. God bless the 90s." Ha! Love this reaction.

Jonathan Caro

It's so bonkers. I love this movie so much.

Chris Thom

Gandolfini was frightening in that. Just when I was happy his character got killed off, never to be seen again...The Sopranos happened.

baz0348

When I first saw this it was weird but so good I mean both lead actors get to play the hero and the villain in the same movie.

GomezAddams

"What the frick?" Exactly.
