You have given us a legendary year of movie reactions - one that may well see you sweep the awards at this year's Poppies - and your self-flaggellation these past few months has been well noted. You have not watched Cool Hand Luke yet, which is universally considered to be a heinous oversight, but as Paulie Newman's birthday is January 26, I have high hopes that our long-standing failure to communicate will finally come to an end. If you haven't watched it by Feb 1, you'll be spending the night in the box. To the legion of Cassie's friends and patrons who frequent these pages throughout the year, thank you for your entertaining nuggets of interaction and for continuing to put up with my drivel. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. Normally I always watch both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies by myself as a way of finishing the year off, but now I've started a new one! For the remaining weeks leading up to the New Year, I watch your OG full-length reactions to The Lord of the Rings, then your reaction to The Hobbit, and finally your reaction with Carly on The Lord of the Rings! I just finished watching your full-length reaction to The Return of the King literally at midnight and it was fun! As I watch you (and Carly) reacting to these movies and see all the question marks buzzing around your head(s), there are so many things in Tolkien's world that I'd love to explain and answer for you and Carly on everything that I know behind the lore of his magical world that he created! Everything from the Valian Years, The Years of the Lamps, The Years of the Trees, The First Age, and The Second Age! Your mind would be blown away if I told you everything that I know lol! No and Yes! 😆 ….so Patreon have basically washed their hands of it! Saying they have found my account but can’t reactivate as it’s been deleted!! 😒🤷‍♂️ They have said it’s between myself and Cassie and Ben to sort it! I have started up a new (monthly account) with my work email address. So I’m basically paying twice at the mo! I have sent all emails/info to Cassie and Ben, in the hope we can sort something out between us. I don’t know if they can just give me a free extra butter for 11 months in my new account or if they can issue a refund and then I can put that money straight back to them by doing a annual extra butter on my new account. Mark, I had the same issue a few of weeks ago. Each of my Patreon accounts was wiped out, and I basically had to start from scratch. This was just the cherry on top of issues I’ve had with Patreon all year long. To paraphrase the great Oliver Hardy… “This is another fine mess you’ve gotten me into, Patreon.”

Thanks for all you do to make PIB so fun. 🎉 Also “Buon Anno PIB!” To celebrate the soon upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, please consider including a movie filmed at that same location with many Olympic references and winter sports. 🏂🏻 The James Bond film “For Your Eyes Only” (1981) features alpine skiing, biathlon, hockey, bobsledding, ski jumping and figure skating all at this same Olympic site in Milano Cortina. Granted some gun play does interrupt the artistry. “For Your Eyes Only” narrowly missed out on a reaction from the PIB Roger Moore James Bond poll. The silver medalist “Live And Let Die” was backed by Paul MacCartney, and despite “Goldfinger” Bond’s insistence the Beatles should only be heard through earmuffs, “Live And Let Die” took the PIB schedule slot with a little help from its friends. Of course, an Italian film poll or films set in Italy poll would be equally appropriate. “For Your Eyes Only” would certainly qualify for the latter. It might even skate by for a win, and allow everyone to bond with this stirring event. Though Bond is not much for stirring, he does like to shake things up. 😊

It's more than you deserve given your disgraceful lambasting of Cannonball Run. And Dan....Richard can have Al Bundy and I'll be Jay Pritchett from Modern Family. Like most of his movie choices, Peggy Bundy is pretty watchable, but she's not a patch on my Sofia. Happy New Year!

The "week" has been Tuesday to Monday for years, with reactions on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The week has been shifting to Wednesday to Tuesday for the last couple months. You know that.

Clarence, I’m sure you saw the post saying that her parents were staying with them until the end of the month. That likely means they were staying in the spare room (The PiB studio) so that would have made things difficult for her to get anything watched. But there is nothing all that unusual about not having, what would be the second, and third reactions of a week not be released until Sunday even. Keep in mind she took a week off, and we had New Years in between.

Appreciate that, Cole. There's always a reason, and most of us regulars are happy to go with the flow. My main concern is that Cassie's got about 20k of new subscribers who are here primarily for the GoT stuff (quite a few who are probably month to month) and we're already seeing some of them get antsy about the wait. Would be nice for them, and for the rest of us, to know when to expect the two drops that were billed for "this week" last week. No hard chasing, just a request for info.
