Well our first Poppies snafu of the day! Won’t be the last! We forgot/mixed up a category on the voting form. The category is

FANTASY/ADVENTURE!

We have presenter and montage but no voting! Can you vote on your favorite reaction here!

Comments

Richard Maurer

D&D - because Thunderbolts has no chance.

Tommy Ivison

Fantasy is just not my bag. Sorry. I'll wait for a Westerns poll. Keep up the good work girls.

Annie519

Right!! Especially to show respect to the late, great Val Kilmer!!

Andrew

I'm a Superman simp so

FranciscoGios

Are you kidding me? D&D was the best from the duel sisters!! Man of Steel was close though.

420gunnyinc .

Man of Steel was a good one. Willow was probably the 2nd best reaction on this list.

Dan

My favorite is not listed. If you had included "Dead Poets Society" or "Mr. Holland's Opus," I would be in a quandary...

Starpartyguy

Man of Steel gave General Zod a motive for his actions.

Clay F

I voted Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot is captivating. Plus, good story. By far, your best reaction of the choices. 2nd choice is Thunderbolts. Charismatic Pugh at center. She commands movie + awesome emotional presentation. Distinctive take on the genre + fresh w/heart. Your reaction was great. My last choice is kids movie Willow. I have no nostalgia. I did like Val Kilmer.

Gray

D&D was good fun.

Peter Morscheck

I second this - your reaction to Dead Poets Society was one of the best of the year

Joel Wayne

Those aren't fantasy

Cole Jennett

I’m sticking with it because my 2nd choice isn’t going to win either

Joel Wayne

I don't think people are keeping in mind you are voting for the reaction....not the movie itself.

Samuel Champ

Willow, homage to Val Kilmer.

Richard Maurer

But, are any of these reactions worse than any of the others? It’s kind of hard to the separate movies from reactions. Going purely on reactions I’d say I enjoyed all of them.

Joseph M Sica

D&D Honor Among Thieves! OMFG Cassie if u watch that I will do a flip in my grave one day!!!! I just showed my best friend that movie and she loved it!

Chris Thom

They want us to believe it was just fiction.

Chris Thom

I haven't seen the D and D reaction yet.

Gray

it's on the channel, it won a PaF a while back

John A

It also didn't feel like it was made for 13 year olds

Stephen Dias

Yes, I remember sitting there wondering: “when is going to realize that’s Val Kilmer in the cage?” Her reaction was awesome.

Stephen Dias

Totally. I love all of those movies, but I’d have to say, D&D was the most fun.

Starpartyguy

I get it. I thought Superman 1 and 2 had the characters acting too silly. And that’s why I like this movie. He’s more human and focused.

Above Average Dave

This will be proven true, Chris. Just like all the other conspiracy theories.

Clay F

+1 for westerns

Joseph M Sica

@Simon @Gray Thanks guys! So is this the original D&D? That movie was Meh but I loved how they included Beholders into it! Kind wish they have more D&D shit into that movie but I still loved it!

J D

Warwick Davis is the best 🏆

Dan M

You know the old saying…”snafu happens”.

Patrick

It's the new HAT version 🥃

Joseph M Sica

Ahhhh ok I see! I must have watched the YT reaction! I did love the original though. I'm hoping they'll make another! As long as Olga throws potatoes!!!! KEKEK

Richard Maurer

I’ve seen the WWI photo. They couldn’t fake that stuff back then.

Mike Redford

Thunderbolts was really fun, especially when bucky shows up on the motorcycle. Carly called it lol.

Ike

Wonder Woman (WW music as I type that)

JPDotCom23

Ugh, figures, more geekier guys than me voting

Chris Thom

I do my own research.

Chris Thom

That avatar is peak fantasy tho.

Patrick

LOL at what level geekness do ANY of these films separate themselves from?

JPDotCom23

Everyone always votes for Dungeons & Dragons, not just here, everywhere, that's my point

Patrick

It's great, spans every range of emotion

Darth Jafar

D&D is criminally underrated.

Starpartyguy

One sci fi film I’d like to see reacted to is Robinson Crusoe on Mars. By today’s standards, it’s outdated because of what we now know about the Mars environment. But it’s a fantastic adventure.

RobertNDouglass

You should have included "Ultramarines - A Warhammer 40K Movie" in the poll as well as it does fit in the fantasy/adventure genre even though it takes place in a far-future sci-fi setting.

RobertNDouglass

And to what level of geekdom do you aspire?

JPDotCom23

Just below Dungeons and Dragons

Browniewin

Thunderbolt is wonderful, it has humor and pathos, a great cast and good message.

Rakesh

Man of Steel!

Rakesh

Also will some one please change the titles from [part 1 of 2] Zack Synders... To just Zack Synders justice league part 1 /2. It's hurt those viewing figures because no one is search on youtube for [part... Probably too late now seowise but would be interesting to see if an uplift occurs over time.

Patrick

You and Carly and Ben and Mr. Jordan are doing a great job with the Poppies and Popcorn in Bed

Brian

Willow is so underrated here, she will love that movie

Chris Thom

The end animation bit with the score is so good.

Ike

the end credits? Yes, i wished they watched that part, it is great. It is only outmatched by Winter Soldier’s end animation.

Walker

Didn’t you already watch Man of Steel and Wonder Woman?

Darth Jafar

Both depending on what you're looking for lol, but the recent one definitely deserves some flowers from modern audiences.

JediJones

You're supposed to watch those reactions and vote on your favorite one.

Tim Weaver

I went Willow which admittedly carried more weight when the only LOTR movie was animated, but still. If I'm not mistaken it was the first movie for industrial light and magic flashing their FX muscles. On a side note.. anyone else remember F/X with Bryan Brown & Brian Dennehy?
