Hey guys! Here's my reaction to The Grand Budapest Hotel! This was a top tier patron pick. This is my first Wes Anderson movie. I feel like I'm in the cool kid club now. I honestly loved this, I found it hilarious, quirky and just a great story (within a story) (within a story). Hope you enjoy!

Agree on The Life Aquatic; it's the best imo. I didn't care for French Dispatch AT ALL though.

Good movie.

Moonrise Kingdom is my favourite Wes Anderson movie - though I have only seen a handful so far

Who me? Oh yeah, I’m just waiting for Return of the King.

I do love Wes Anderson films. Fantastic Mr. Fox is a great one by him.

Really enjoying this reaction so far. (I'm about halfway through.) Besides Anderson's signature style, something I find remarkable about this movie is the Ralph Fiennes performance. He plays Gustave with such a light comic touch that it's easy to forget he is primarily known for playing intense, sociopathic villains ("Schindler's List," "Red Dragon" and of course, Voldemort in the Harry Potter films).

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is my favourite Wes Anderson Film, although I enjoy all of them.

Anderson's films always pop with color. There's never a dull frame in the whole movie, there's so much to look at and i still see new things. The Life Aquatic is my favorite, followed by this one. He's working on another movie called "The French Dispatch". You would also like Isle of Dogs

Eric Denney

If you really enjoyed this movie, definitely check out Moonrise Kingdom. Same director, many of the same actors (plus Bruce Willis), exact same quirky style, great soundtrack/score. Just a brilliant movie overall, and a little more light hearted than The Grand Budapest Hotel. You'd love it.

^This comment definitely needed a bump. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is as fantastic, if not more, than this fantastic movie is.
