"Ford v Ferrari" has knocked "Field of Dreams" to the lower bracket. Since it's won the WB, I'll for sure be watching it. Which movie will fight it's way out of the losers bracket?

Wow… was pulling for Ford vs. Ferrari, but didn’t think it would actually beat Field of Dreams. But hey, that’s a win for motorsports in my book 😆

I grew up watching reruns of all the spaghetti westerns. I was more Clint Eastwood era than John Wayne. After Clint there were a few good westerns made like Tombstone, Open Range, Silverado etc. A decent smaller bracket could be made. 😊

I guess I just have a soft spot for the Rocky series. I boxed in high school and college. Clubber Lang and Mike Tyson inspired me to get my first heavy and speed bags when I was 13.

Kristy, I, too, grew up on Eastwood, Wayne was already an "old" movie star, and "The Shootist" was something my dad dragged me to. I later appreciated John Wayne by cherry picking ones like, "The Searchers," "Big Jake," "The Cowboys," and "The green Berets." He truly is/was stuck in the old Hollywood system and was a relic, even when Eastwood was breaking out of the "system" and blazing his own weird western trail. Weird, that is, compared to Wayne's films, locked into an old school system of both production and standards.

Who voted for Ford vs. Ferrari over Field of Dreams? What the Hell? Who are you people? Shame on you! It's not even a sports movie for crying out loud! The damn thing came out two years ago. How did it even get out of the first round? This is just wrong.
