Hey guys! Just a reminder to make sure and vote in the semifinals for each category! It looks like the matches are much closer than they were last round.

VOTE NOW

Also, Star Wars Episode II will be up tonight. Hopefully at a decent hour!

And lastly, if you haven't filled out the form for our event coming up (date tba) then you can go ahead and do that here. For those of you who don't know, I'll be picking a random patron to choose a movie for me to watch!

OK Hitchcock is good but that cannot be all that's good before 1961, right? That's the problem of patreon votes -- the result is often lacking diversity.

Daryl

All the movies winning are the same movies every single other react channel have watched already. I’m calling it, Predators gonna win. People foam in the mouths for that movie for some reason.

Dean A

You may be right. I try not to get too invested in my own opinion of what would be a good movie to react to but, Predator winning out over Close Encounters? That's beyond my comprehension. Oh well... :-)

Adam Wetstein

It going to be field of dreams. It should have beaten f f the first time around

Predator is way more entertaining sorry. The real crime here is The Fly losing to whatever random movie that was, talk about taking a dive!

Predator certainly has been entertaining for me in the past. But we can all watch entertaining movies any time we like. I'm here to watch an entertaining reaction. For me that means a movie that inspires a range of responses beyond vicarious fight-or-flight adrenaline charges and jump-shocks. Each to his own :-)

Jake McNulty

Honestly, I have a good feeling that "Rear Window" may come out on top.

I don't think the movie is bad... but I think it really does not compare with some of the others that it has beaten

Yup. Great movie. Well, maybe not better than Robocop, but for sure better than Predator. 😏

Brandon Notsch

predator needs the win. Best action and thriller movie ever made

Em McG

lol, okay here's a suggestion, not a serious suggestion - someone count the number of times a movie already has been reacted-to on youtube (remember this is not a serious suggestion) - and then handicap the voting against the titles that already have a lot of reactions to it (if someone does this they can't publish the numbers because this is not a serious suggestion). No this is not a serious suggestion, shouldn't do it for voting already in-progress. If a title is found with only a handful of existing reactions it gets double points, if there are zero existing reactions it gets triple points! LoL just kidding - but if done the research would only be used to advise the voters and for no other purpose.

I'd be on board with this completely non-serious suggestion, so we don't have to endure another Firefly reaction. Lol.

Dan

"Endure" another Firefly reaction? Blasphemy. Everyone should know about that show. And she likes it!

Dan

It sucks seeing Eternal Sunshine always get marked down from people not knowing about it. And Fugitive over Momento? Fugitive wasn't even better than Clear and Present Danger, which would have been a better Harrison Ford movie. Momento is far more unique and deserved higher votes. What a bummer.

Unfortunately, the Predator fanboys are out in full force. The older movies get no love.

Lol No County for Old Men a "random movie." I hope that was a joke.

Doug Fisher

You were expecting logical, rational, and "fair" choices from a Patreon movie bracket?! ;)

Seymor Butz

Not sure how Preadator beat rear window and is now beating the fugative.

JTP

Clear and Present Danger is awful, one of the worst Clancy flicks. Lame War on Drugs propaganda. The most tense moment of the film is a printer running out of ink ffs. Fugitive blows it away. Momento is good, but hardly out of Fugitive's league. Eternal Sunshine is great, though.

JTP
>>71156586

Fugitive is a fun movie, but Predator is iconic.

Seymor Butz

But not for Cassie. She would like the fugitive far better.

Mike LL

Doesn't matter because she is watching the Final Four, regardless. Just might affect the order she watches them.

Verteron

I'm mostly joking. I like Firefly. I only give it a hard time because it would just be nice to see some of the less reacted to shows given a chance too. For example, I don't think there is one reaction to From the Earth to Moon on Youtube. Although, currently I'm watching 3 channels that are watching Firefly at the moment. I've probably seen at least 3 others do it in the past. Granted, I know Cassie hasn't seen it, so the other channels are irrelevant and I hope she enjoys it. Just going to patiently wait for the next series.
