That is pretty cool fellow Canadian Jewell Staite contacted you , Cassie!

If you're jonesing for some more Alan Tudyk, his current series "Resident Alien" is great fun. Season one aired last Winter and season two starts on Jan. 26.

Saffron's rich husband was also Ray's dad in "Field of Dreams." Just watched those reactions back to back and noticed that....

It's quirky on the surface, but very sweet underneath, with strong women characters. I'm not sure if it would pass the Bechtel test, but it feels like it.

Mr Trick

Nearly twenty years on from Firefly’s cancellation and I can honestly say it still hurts.

I can't wait for you to watch serenity.

Maybe after serenity you can give anime version a shot lol called Outlaw Star

Tip: Disney+ show The Mandalorian has a very Star Wars Firefly feel. Not sure if you can ever do streaming shows, but if you like Firefly there's a good chance you'll like the Mandalorian.

Wishing everyone here a Healthy, Prosperous, Safe and Blessed New Year. May every day be happier than the day before.

At the end of Trash, when Mal is unabashedly au-naturel, Cassie comments: "He's just playing it so cool." This is what I figured out after rewinding. I had first heard: "He's displaying it so cool." :-)

Jewel Staite also appears in Stargate Atlantis, a spin-off series of the Stargate SG-1 series. There she also portrays a sweet-innocent person. "Too bad" those series a way to long to be picked here. Even though they are Canadian-American serises. Would have loved seeing reaction to them.

Yeah well I’ve been trying to get her to watch Stargate the movie for like 186 years but she won’t do it. She also hates James “By God” Spader from his character Steph in Pretty in Pink! So I can’t even get him redeemed from that fiasco either! But I’ll endure these other lesser films and fight the good fight nonetheless!🤣

LOL that's outrageous. So Cassie is a "one strike and you're out" and dissing James Spader. Now she has to watch Stargate to prove she gives people (James Spader) a second chance. I'm hoping Cassie is listening in ;-) No doubt that she would love Stargate AND it has a love story. How can she say no to that!

Right?!!!? I mean total redemption movie for Spader as the lovable nerd! Got good vs evil; underdogs; some mystery/intrigue; a little comedy and of course a Love Story. She’d love it!!!

That's too bad about "Stargate". I love that movie and yes, I think Cassie would love it also. Stargate was in the Sci-Fi bracket poll but lost to Terminator in the second round. Then in the Runner Up bracket poll it lost in the first round to Close Encounters. So not a love here for that one :(

Jewel Staite and Sean Maher (Kaylee & Simon) have a cameo as a couple in Warehouse 13, season 2 episode 2, "Mild Mannered". Just fyi.
