ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY!!! Ok I don't think this was as bad as people made it out to be. It did seem to have a different style and very unlikable characters but it was still Rocky and Adrian for us ❤️. Hope you guys enjoy! Also, just an update on Spider-man, it's still being worked on (sorry it's very tedious) and hopefully it will be up tomorrow/Monday. Thanks for being patient!

A lot of people dont know that Tommy Morrison was a real life boxer as well. While he may not have all the glitz and popularity of others, he absolutely had the best left hook in the business. Look up Tommy Morrison Left Hook on youtube. An entire montage of how brutal it really was.

you should watch the Unwaxed Podcast done by Stallone's daughters where they do an interview with him. Its a good one

After watching this again , with you it's not as bad as my first watch but definitely the weakest Rocky for all the reasons you both said especially what you said Cassie it's the 1st thing I noticed that was missing the work out montage with Rocky and your sister was right it redeemed itself in the last 5 minutes

I watch the rocky series once a year but i always skip rocky 5, In fact last time i sat down and watched it was on probably VHS. I enjoyed it more then i thought i might. I think i might like it better because of the next movie. I'm glad i rewatched with PIB

I’m definitely looking forward to getting over to the ‘Creed’ franchise, especially ‘Creed 2,’ where you’ll be reacquainted with some old ‘friends.’

Did anyone notice in the shower scene with Adrian (which was incredible) Rocky says to Adrian "I just wanna go home, MIck". That scene alone shows how under-rated and actor Stallone is. That and the look on his face when TommyGun says the "angel on my shoulder" was the boxing promoter. FYI...Rockys son was played by Sage Stallone who died a few years later.

He died 22 years later, actually. From a heart attack, in 2012.

I enjoyed how you put your hand as to stop what was going on in the movie, wondering if it worked? lol I haven't watched this one for years and it is funny to see the old neighborhood in the movie. They moved the Rocky Statue no longer at the top of the stairs of the Philadelphia Art Musem, but they do have Rocky's Footprints at the top. They have moved the statue off to the right at the bottom of the staircase. Both are free to have a picture of/with if you visit Philadelphia.

When Rocky V came out, it just felt unnecessary. Like they couldn’t let Rocky go out on a high. Gotta take all the money he earned and send him back to square one. Gotta lean into the head trauma. Plus, Sage just wasn’t a very good actor and he gets way too much of the screen time. They basically break Rocky down like they did in Rocky 2, just without as much of a “rising from the ashes” pay off. The whole plot is, “student gets an overinflated ego and has to get taught a lesson by the teacher.” And he wasn’t even likable before the heel turn. Watching that punk get a beat down is enjoyable enough, but after being told repeatedly that Rock has brain damage and another fight could kill him, it doesn’t feel like much of a victory, just because he manages to not die. Rocky’s situation is more or less the same as when the movie started.

I’m just on pins and needles waiting for the Rocky Balboa reaction and then for FINALLY getting to Creed and Creed 2.

I see you two were definitely not liking that fight near the end fearful for Rocky cause of his head condition, he was just lucky he beat it and took that disgrace of a boxer down. I never liked of trusted that Tommy Gunn from that first part in the gym and Duke was just manipulating him to no end and Tommy was just letting him cause he had no heart.

Not a fan of Rocky 5 myself. I think Sylvester should have ended the series on a happy note instead a spiraling down depressing one (which gets worse in the movies coming up). The explanation of him losing all his millions (and making poor Paulie the villain again) was absurd, and Duke was written as too cartoonish. Someone needed to tell Sylvester (terrible stage name by the way) to leave his excellent works alone- including the mess he made of Rambo in Last Blood. Still, watching it again with Cassie and Carly with their adorable reactions made it enjoyable.

Am I doing something wrong? There is no sound to the movie?
