Can I suggest four weddings and a funeral which contains a beautiful poem. Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come. Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves. He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood; For nothing now can ever come to any good. W H Auden

Cassie: It's very sad and tragic and dark and confusing... Also Cassie: Have a wonderful evening!

Zero Dark Thirty is by the same director, and an excellent movie...worth putting on your list.

The video was on YouTube and now it’s gone.

My dad, a World War Two Staff Sergeant, once told me that War was worse than Hell. How so? In Hell, only the guilty are punished. In War, the innocent suffer too.

'Pappy' Johnston

It was obvious this one was hard for you and you commented something along the lines of "you couldn't understand..." To that my wonderful sweet young lady I say...."Good." Although I truly appreciate, that you appreciate the sacrifices that have been made by those who "stand on that wall," trust me, from someone who's been there, there is no really understanding it only surviving it. And IF you COULD understand it and if it wasn't hard for you to witness,it would change you, (...not in a good way). You would not longer be the innocent, kind and sweet person that we all know and love. So stay strong and happy. Please keep that smile on your face and in your heart and leave trying to wrap your head around THAT particular Hell alone. Oh, on a happy note, My roommate in the dorms while I was active duty was part of Explosive Ordinance Disposal, (EOD) while I worked on nukes myself. Although there were the bad, sucky,, hellish times, as I said, we found ways to have a lot of fun too whenever we possibly could. 👍🏻🙂
