As always, your reaction was thoroughly enjoyable. I just want to point out that Renee Zelwegger, whom you both seem to like, is in another sports/family movie I have been flogging forever on this channel: Cinderella Man (2005).

Looking forward to this one! I have to say though, I'm surprised you haven't seen this (or Ghost) before! Both of these are smack in the middle of your wheelhouse! I guess you were too young when they came out!

It's spelled Zellweger. I can tell you're a huge fan and your opinion really means something.

Great reaction to a great movie. Since you loved this movie, you have to watch Tin Cup with Kevin Costner -- another great sports rom-com.

Cassie has seen it before, this is Carly’s first time seeing it.

Thanks for catching the misspelling. Whenever I type in "Renee," the next word suggested is "Zelwegger," so apparently I have been consistently misspelling her name for quite a while.🙄

O.K., my sarcasm meter seems to have failed. So let me clarify. I am a huge fan of Cinderella Man, with tour de force performances by Russell Crowe and Paul Giamatti. Never been a big fan of Renee Zellweger, although I think she performed well in Cinderella Man. As for the value of my opinions, I have been unable to sell any reactors on Cinderella Man, so that speaks for itself.

Cassie, did you recognize Cush as the actor who played Vern, one of the kids you loved in Stand By Me?

I agree that you both would love Tin Cup, another sports rom-com. Even though it’s not a rom-com, I also think you both would enjoy The Legend of Bagger Vance, another sports movie with romance in it.

Tin Cup is a rom-com, it's just between Kevin Costner and Cheech Marin. 🤣

LOL... there is some truth to that, but there is also something of a love-triangle with Kevin, Don Johnson & Renee Russo as well... :D
