Well I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did. It was kind of dark and "yikes" at parts but I think not only do I love a good love story, I love a good story of friendship and watching these two learn to love each other was pretty tender. They are both so likeable and different and they just work.  Yes, I want to watch the next one if that is what you were going to ask ;)

[Full Reaction] Lethal Weapon (1987)

Comments

Zane From Canada

Watch them all! The character development just keeps getting better and better each time. 😄

Michael Lynch

You should expect to like a movie as much when a movie is as requested and as loved as much as this series. We’re not gonna go crazy over a movie for no reason. Now about tombstone…

Jason Dolan

Part 2 is equally amazing. Glad you liked it. Other reactors have had a Batman 89 reaction to it.

Michael Lynch
>>97523834

Honestly, if there are people that don’t like lethal weapon, I wouldn’t want to know them. That’s probably the best buddy cop movie there is.

Michael Lynch

Well, I am in bed, but I’ve convinced myself to get up and watch this. I guess that’s how much I love this movie.

Brian McGovern

Heck of a way to open a movie, hey? For some interesting tidbits, the director directed Superman and The Goonies. I do not know if you ever watched Cheers, but the girl who played Amanda Hunsacker ( dove out the window) played Woody Boyd’s girlfriend, Kelly Gaines.

Patrick Gibbs

Do you remember Danny Glover’s cameo in Maverick? He was a robber in a scene with a scarf covering his face. Maverick and Danny Glover’s character recognized each other somehow. 😄

Michael Lynch

No way! I didn’t know that about her. That’s pretty awesome. Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly of mine…

Andy
>>97523834

My personal favorite is 4. The cast really seems to gel in that one. Plus, Jet Li is freaking great

Jason Dolan
>>97523834

I mean it's not for everyone - it was similar to Cassie's reaction to BATMAN 89

N M

Riggs and Roger… great comedic chemistry between them… if you continue with the series, you will be rewarded with the appearance of the great Joe Pesci (My Cousin Vinny)

Gábor Árki

This is a reaction I was looking forward for a while now and now based on the hint from Cassie that she liked it, I'm really excited to watch this later tonight. (insert saxophone riff) This series is definitely topping my buddy cop movies list. The chemistry between Riggs and Murtaugh is just so good. Gibson's over the top, crazy acting and continuous teasing goes so well with Glover's grounded, regular, family guy, "I'm too old for this shit" character. The first is not my favorite though, I always felt the tone of the movie is a bit uneven and can go really dark at times. Not that the sequels don't have such moments, just overall I feel like they have a more consistent, albeit somewhat goofier tone that just works better for me. So it makes me very happy and excited to read, that Cassie is onboard with continuing the series.😄

Paul Ark

Now that you've seen Lethal Weapon, go back and rewatch your reaction to Maverick. During the bank robbing scene, Mel Gibson's Maverick pulls down one of the robber's mask, revealing Danny Glover, his Lethal Weapon partner. For a moment, both characters experience an odd moment of mutual recognition while a few guitar chords from the Lethal Weapon soundtrack plays. As Glover's bank robber flees the bank, he mutters "I'm getting too old for this sh*t". Classic Easter egg =D

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

This movie gets better every time I watch it, that's the mark of a true classic, a true 80s classic. Would love more Lethal Weapon movies, and how about some Swayze in ROADHOUSE?

Robert da Spruce

Fun reaction Cass! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I hope you continue the series. On a technical note. I’ve noticed the last few reactions the picture looks a little low contrast. Almost like there’s a slight haze over the whole image. When you first switched to the new camera position. The picture was a little too contrasty. I don’t know if you over compensated and went too far in the other direction. But the image quality isn’t the greatest currently.

ENC SW DV Rush

Another great reaction - Its been a while since I saw it, so forgot about the torture scene,... a bit unrealistic to bounce back from stuff like that,... but he is a badass in this movie,...

LuMarq
>>97524528

I was hoping she would catch it lol I lost it when I saw it the first time as a kid

Gilbert Gonzalez

I love all 4 of these movies, they are a lot of fun lol they are currently working on a Lethal Weapon 5, Mel Gibson is taking over directing it as well after the director who did the whole series, Richard Donner, passed away. Richard Donner also directed The Goonies and Maverick with Mel Gibson lol

Brian Harris

These movies are great. And I knew you’d like them because there is a love story at the center, a platonic love story between two men that honestly just gets fuller and richer with each movie, just as good friendships get fuller over the years. The plots never make any sense at all, and arguably get worse, but the action sequences are always incredible, and the chemistry between these guys (and some other characters who join the “family” later on) is nearly unmatched. This is THE template for the buddy-cop dynamic, and no one else has done it nearly as well.

Michael Lynch
>>97527305

Oh man it’s going to be so great. Mel Gibson is actually a really good Director.

David Freese
>>97527305

He did Superman as well and helped produce another 15 films if my memory serves right.

David Freese
>>97526598

1 is a good start off point. The big thing about the other 3 is that the feeling of be the movie is lighter. It got a lot of help from an actor that joined that I will not name till the sequels are being watched.

Gábor Árki
>>97527457

Totally agree. The plot, the detective work, the villains are taking a back seat. For me, these movies were always about the characters of Riggs and Murtaugh and their chemistry and dynamic, Murtaugh's family, the character arc of Riggs throughout the series, and all the new characters tagging along in every movie.

Gábor Árki
>>97526598

Indeed it is a good start and don't get me wrong, I still love it. For me, one of the best aspects of these movies is all the new characters tagging along in every sequel. 😉

Michael Lynch

By the way, this series doesn’t do what movies usually do. Get worse over time. All four of these movies are awesome.

Gwydify

I suggest you go back and watch Maverick, specifically the bank robbery scene. It will make it so much better

Philip G.

Am I the only person who in history to think LW4 is the best one?

MattN
>>97528565

I can see understand why ppl can say LW4 isn’t the best, but it is hands down my favorite. It’s the perfect end to the series establishing an amazing arc across all four movies. I really love that movie so much.

Seymor Butz

Yes, yes, yes. All 4 are great films and you really fall in love with the family.

Justtired

“I’m so glad he didn’t win Dancing with the Stars” I laughed so hard at that comment. Never change Cassie.

Stick Figure Studios

This was a great reaction. I had a feeling you would like it. I knew the violence would be tough for you in spots, but had a feeling you would respond positively to the dynamic between Riggs and Murtaugh (the chemistry between Mel Gibson and Danny Glover is superb) and you're right. They're friends by the end of this one and seeing their relationship develop over the next three (soon to be four) movies is a real pleasure to watch. For my money, these are the ultimate buddy cop movies and even though I personally still prefer the first one, they mostly stay good throughout (though the fourth one is, for me, easily the weakest). Many even consider the second one the best. You'll see some fun, familiar faces joining the cast in subsequent entries and you'll see the series get lighter in tone as it progresses... still with thrilling action but with a lot more comedy. Looking forward to seeing you react to more LETHAL WEAPON movies... but you better do it soon because I'm (wait for it) getting too old for this s**t (almost the same age as Roger is in this film which is a surreal feeling).

Stick Figure Studios
>>97526598

I still think the first in the best, but 2 and 3 are terrific. I'm not really a fan of 4 (except whenever Jet Li is onscreen).

Sean Stuart

Didn’t know I had the directors version til like 9 minutes in. Also always felt bad for Danny Glover playing a 50 year old at 40. Mel Gibson I think his playing older than 30 irl age.

Patrick Flanagan
>>97523834

The first movie is great, the sequels have diminishing returns. Although Joe Pesci is pretty entertaining.

Patrick Flanagan
>>97524528

They also played a bit of the LETHAL WEAPON "gently weeping guitar" theme, with a Western twang to it

Patrick Flanagan
>>97527305

I am pretty sure there will never be a LETHAL WEAPON 5. Danny Glover is in his late '70s, how is he supposed to still be a cop?

Patrick Flanagan
>>97529996

Riggs is definitely older than Gibson. He mentions being in Saigon in 1969, Mel Gibson only turned 13 that year.

Planner
>>97528565

"It's the perfect end to the series" - They're making a fifth one 😀

Planner

Lethal Weapon 2 as soon as possible 😀 No link to Christmas, so no need to wait a year for it... Also, maybe a little bit weirdly, this reaction made me want a reaction to Sister Act more.

Michael McErlain

Yes, it’s a Christmas movie Cassie! All four, in the series, are great and the fourth is said to be, by many, the best of the group. I think you’ll agree, but no spoilers at this time. Wishing you and your family a quick recovery and a very Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year

Andi K

If you think this is "Yikes", you should really overthink watching "Robocop". This will be, by far, the most violent movie you ever watched. And considering your reaction to violence... you really won't like it.

James1035

I’m happy you liked the movie. Yes it’s violent at times, but it’s a very good movie. Gibson and Glover have great chemistry. I think this is the best one in the series, but they are all entertaining. It’s to bad Carly couldn’t join you for this one. She liked Die Hard and I think she would’ve liked this one too.

Mark M

I finally invested in a VPN but I don't think it helped me find it streaming🙄

Richard Bourne

I have the Director's cut, so tough to make it line up as it has additional scenes. Not how a Christmas movie begins, right?

Jon Johns
>>97528565

I loved #4 too, but it wouldn't have half the impact with out the previous 3...

Richard Bourne

A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into. An inboard motor, yikes, you had better be a mechanic. Outboards are so much easier.

Terry Yelmene

"I'm GLAD that guy didn't win DWTS! He's SO bad! ~ PiB Cassie (who is NO LONGER any fan of Gary Busey!)

Canadianant

Lots of funs with this one. Can we get Beverly Hills cop now?

Michael Lynch
>>97527305

How does Arnold Schwarzenegger still make movies? Danny Glover was never the main action guy of the series anyway.

Dave Hill

The scene from Maverick that is such a hilarious nod to the Lethal Weapon franchise: https://youtu.be/lgRb7ALCwJ0 At the time Maverick came out, Lethal Weapon 3 had been out for a couple years, so Riggs and Murtaugh had been through a lot together. Such a funny scene! =)

Patrick Egan

The Lethal Weapon sequels are all pretty fun. Well worth watching at some point.

Andrew Hogan

Nice to be back, had a run of movies I wasn’t interested in, but Lethal Weapon, absolutely. It’s a solid trilogy, the fourth one was okay, but you could tell it was time to wrap things up. Yeah, I miss cheesy and fun, we could all use more of it these days.

Andrew Hogan
>>97527305

I thought he and Danny Glover had a falling out after some of Mel’s comments.

Matt Rose

Oh sweet, I guess I know what I'll be doing today around lunchtime. Also, I rate the series: LW2>LW>LW4>LW3

Jason Dolan

A lot of people forget this but the first time we meet Riggs and Murtaugh in this movie, they are both completely naked.

Jason Dolan
>>97544591

It also takes about 20-25 minutes for Riggs and Murtaugh to even meet each other. I miss when movies took their time to set up the story.

Dean Holt

One if not the best buddy cop franchise I actually like all the sequels tbh but the second one is the best. Also they was a mention in this about a project called Air America which was the CIA airline operating in Laos during the Vietnam war. And a few after this film Mel Gibson was in the movie about it called Air America which is a brilliant action comedy also started a young Robert Downey Jr. But also as you’ve dipped your toe into the 80s action comedy I’d highly recommend the first two Beverly Hills Cop films with Eddie Murphy, Stakeout, Midnight Run and Crocodile Dundee.

Dean Holt
>>97533104

I mentioned something similar on another post. Even though I like the film I definitely wouldn’t have a problem if she decided to back out.

Jason Dolan

I like that the plot of this movie revolves around Air America and then Mel Gibson went and made a movie about Air America called AIR AMERICA with Robert Downey Jr. That's an underrated movie.

Odd Thomas

2 is the best imo but the first three are all top notch. I didn't think much of 4 tbh

Mike LL
>>97527457

It's so funny to hear people praise these action movies while others are so dismissive and hateful to the rom coms (I don't mean you, Brian and Gabor) while if you really think about it, the two genres have so much in common. The best ones are really about human relationships, this and other buddy cop movies just do it platonically and with a lot of bullets. And Cassie reacts to them very similarly, note Cassie's comment as the two leads hug each other at the end and she says "And they love each other!" with delight just like her rom com reactions. Funny.

Uncle Phoenix

Wow. Loved that blast from the past. I forgot what a great movie that was.

MrRuss50
>>97555158

3 for me lol. Love the bomb scene it opens with. Plus joe pesci is great.

warcrimes

this is the only good one in the series

Krusty “Topher”

Great reaction! You just love a good buddy movie is all!😀 LW2 is pretty good and 3,4 are great fun!! So many Mel Gibson movies to go though! Signs, Ransom, Payback are all great! Conspiracy theory is awesome!! Love that one!

Gábor Árki

Just finished and this was a great reaction. I admit, I was a bit worried knowing how much darker moments are in the first one, but I'm glad she enjoyed the rest of the movie. Who would have thought just a year ago Cassie would be so much into '80s/'90s action movies. Maybe it is just my nostalgia talking but there was something special in this era of film-making. And not just talking about action, but other genres too. Can't wait for the Lethal Weapon 2 reaction. Hope it will make it into the Q1 schedule. I often see people dismissing 3 and 4, but I think all four are worthy of not just watching but reacting too. 😉 PS: Unlike the first Die Hard, I do not consider this one to be a Christmas movie. It just takes places during Christmas. I don't even an consider it to be an 'alternative' Christmas movie like Trading Places or the Life of Brian.

Odd Thomas

Anything Shane Black writes is great, particularly The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis & Samuel L. Jackson - one of the best action movies of the 90s

Gábor Árki
>>97531424

Gibson is not in Sister Act. It is a Whoopi Goldberg movie, and one her best.

Seymor Butz

If you like these....I'm thinking you would enjoy Conspiracy theory. Mel Gibson, Julia Robert's, Sir Patrick Stewart. Decent love story and a fun plot.

Gábor Árki
>>97526598

My personal favorite is the 2nd, but the first three are really close in my opinion. The 4th is a bit weaker, but I do like the ending (and the credits) very much.

Stick Figure Studios

Also, you are not crazy, Cassie, associating LETHAL WEAPON with DIE HARD as they were released only a year apart (LW in '87 and DH on '88), were produced by the same guy (Joel Silver) and represented a "new" kind of action picture (DIE HARD was actually characterized at the time as LETHAL WEAPON meets THE TOWERING INFERNO). They were also scored by the same composer (Michale Kamen) and even feature some of the same actors.

Alex Villarreal

Yeah, Cassie will love all the sequels. The further we get in the series, the more she'll like the additional characters.

Mike Lemon
>>97563963

I think Conspiracy Theory would make a good reaction with Carly too, I think they would both really enjoy it. For a solo reaction I would love Man Without a Face (1993), but I won't hold my breath for that one.

James1035
>>97565415

Add to that Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis were considered for Die Hard and Lethal Weapon

Bill Maurer

LW1 and LW2 are great. LW3 .. ok. LW4 .. they did it for the $$$$. Though Jet Li is in it

Bill Hayden

"He got jumped by a battery" Thanks for such a great reaction. And now, I'm off to buy my significant other, another Christmas gift. "Someone" led her to believe that we would be watching a reaction from a snot emitting, alphabet vomit covered woman. Well, needless to say that didn't happen. So, now I'm on my way to cover my butt. I'm going to have to start pre-screening these things, otherwise Valentines Day will be very expensive. 😉

Planner
>>97531424

As Gábor Árki said, he isn't. Air America, like the one mentioned in the movie, /is/ a Mel Gibson movie though 😀 It has Robert Downey Jr. in it too.

Stick Figure Studios
>>97565415

Really? I did not know that. I mean, I knew that a lot of actors were considered for DIE HARD (including Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger), but I didn't know Mel Gibson was one of them. I also didn't know that Bruce Willis was considered for LETHAL WEAPON. I actually have a hard time believing that latter one because even getting Willis for DIE HARD was a tough sell to the studio given he was considered a TV comedy actor and not an action hero. Do you have a source on these tidbits?

Uncle Phoenix

I was surprised to hear that the battle that Mr. Hunsacker saved Murtagh in was the la Drang valley battle, which is the same valley where the movie “We Were Soldiers” was set. Don’t know if there was more than one battle in that valley during the Vietnam War.

Ry Jo

LW2 is great, it is my favorite, look just accept it , lol, you watch 2 it will make want to watch 3 you watch 3 it will make you want to watch 4.... just accept now that you will see it to the end, people will argue over the best movie and which is better which is worse etc etc you can do that after the 4th movie, look the whole thing is a giant character arc, 4 movies... sure some are better than others but they all bring something to the final story... ending it here is a bad move, ending it after 2 is a bad move. JUST KEEP WATCHING!!!! do not let the story they started here die.

Steve Sanders

I very much look forward to the rest. 2 is probably the best overall movie of the franchise, 4 is the funniest in my opinion

matthew

all four of them are great.

Rick Williams

Great Reaction, Cassie! I am glad you are liking this action movies. You have really grown. An you say the greatest lines. "He just got jumped like a car battery." You make me laugh. Cassie, you are the greatest. Yes. You should watch all 4 of the movies in this series. You will like them.

Justin

You will not be disappointed in the sequels. I've always found the entire Lethal Weapon franchise to be solid. All great movies.

Walter
>>97567373

I do enjoy them all, but I agree 4 is...the least of them. Though yeah, Jet Li is the man. I love 3 for Rene Russo - she's fantastic.

Jamison Bognuda

They are making a 5th Lethal Weapon with Mel Gibson taking over directing duties from the late Richard Donner, who directed 1-4.

Colin Gutierrez

This is another one of those rare franchises where one or more of the sequels are as good as or better than the first.

Ike

Q: What happened at the end there? [Roger walks Martin out after dinner]. Was that guy code? - Cassie A: Instead of being witty and quirky, Martin decided to be serious for a minute. He said that he shot bad guy in Laos [during the Vietnam War] from over a thousand yards away, then sadly acknowledges that “it is the only thing that he was ever good at.” For many reasons, I love this film very dearly. It is one of the few that I have to have in every form of media available. I’m so happy the friendship between these two men will be our next journey as PIB Inc.

'Pappy' Johnston

Again...watch the scene in Maverick with Mell Gibson where the bank he is in trying to get loan money repaid from his friend the bank manager and it gets robbed. the bank robber is Danny Glover and they do a mini tribute to Lethal Weapon. I think it's great that you like action movies now!!! Now, if we could JUST get you to REALLY give westerns A FAIR SHAKE, trust us and watch "Open Range!" LOL Also, some other trivia often overlooked in this movie Hunsaker said Murtaugh he owes him Murtaugh explains it was from when Hunsaker saved his life in the Ia Drang valley in Vietnam after taking a bayonet. Ia Drang was the battle being fought in the Mel Gibson movie "We Were Soldiers." Also, Hunsaker says he was working with Air America run by Shadow Company running drugs out of Vietnam during the war. Gibson did a movie about that too where he was a good guy pilot called.....what else...."Air America"

Ry Jo

also, again, if you find them, 1) ladyhawke (1985) 2) First Knight (1995) 3) jumping jack flash (1986) are great movies

Brian Jones
>>97529095

Age is a state of mind.... Take it from someone who has a few years on you. :)

Brian Jones
>>97533104

She's seen Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, and Fury..... And you're worried about Robocop or Lethal Weapon being too violent? Come now.....

Brian Jones
>>97563059

Let's not get too carried away.... The Predator (2018) was dogshit......lol.

Stick Figure Studios
>>97565415

Ah, well, that makes me skeptical then. IMDB never verifies their trivia. Anybody can submit anything (and many do just as jokes; I remember seeing on the SCHINDLER'S LIST board once that Alan Thicke(!) was considered for Schindler). They might still be true, but I'm gonna look elsewhere for that trivia.

Erik Daniel

"He's raging, with a fire I can't even fathom" lol, or something like that. Every reaction is a great time, but these movies are very close to my heart so this was a special treat. It was great to see you loving the relationship unfold between Riggs and Murtaugh. This is as heavy and dark as it gets too Cassie, the movies lighten up as they progress and because of that, I think any one of the next 3 could end up being your favorite.

Mike Lemon
>>97565415

You have to remember that "considered" means almost nothing. There are a hundred people considered for most roles. Auditioned, read, or maybe even *seriously* considered are the important ones for "trivia".

Yann Laliberté

The Lethal Weapon movies gets less "dramatic" with the next one, you'll see and enjoy it immensely.

Martin Skouboe

Since both you and Carly seemed to like Die Hard, you should have her catch up and bring her in on these. Die Hard and Lethal Weapon are absolute classics in the 80's action genre and the next movies in the Lethal Weapon series are also good.

Matt Mabry

Nothing says Christmas until you see Hans fall from Nakataomi plaza.

Brent Petty

Her "meal ticket" is the person paying for her expenses.

Marie Antoinette

I love that you can still hear his Aussie accent in these, Mel is such a legend!

Brian Harris
>>97576686

Definitely not a coincidence, given that Gibson directed We Were Soldiers. Gibson has a fascination with the Vietnam War era. He also made a movie with Robert Downey Jr (who he is very close with IRL) a few years after Lethal Weapon called Air America, which was about a covert CIA heroin-smuggling operation out of Vietnam. Sound familiar? That’s because Hunsaker name-dropped the real-life Air America in this movie. It was an actual incident that Mel wound up portraying onscreen in a movie that a lot of people think was buried and unfairly maligned because the government didn’t want people to hear about the CIA fucking around with drug smuggling.

Rick Williams
>>97529058

Yes. It is a continuing of the story. Partners that become family and the growth of that family through the years that span the 4 movies. Kids growing up. New romances. It's a good journey. I don't look at the individual movies. I look at the whole story. And it is a good story of family and love.

Philip Davetas

Wow. I love this damn flick. The whole series honestly! "Let's get the flock outta here!"

Rick Williams
>>97527457

Some Rom Coms are fine. I may even have to say good. Cassie made me see that. But, an action flick with some ROM com is the best. Or ROM com with some action. I now realize my favorite kind of movies have action and ROM com. Carrie's channel has taught me that.

Matt Rose

I know I keep beating the same drum but I'm going to beat it again...if you liked this, you need to do KISS KISS BANG BANG. It's written and directed by Shane Black who wrote LETHAL WEAPON 1 and 2. It pairs up Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer. You'll have a blast.

James Payne

I’m glad you got the chance to see this one. Frankly I identify with Mel Gibson’s character. If I lost MY wife, I’m not sure I could go on either…but I like to think I’d persevere like he did.

Just Plain Bob

Put me down as another advocate for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. A really smart script coupled with superb acting and fantastic direction. Great movie.

Philip Davetas
>>97684722

I like all those Shane Black xXxmas flicks. THE NICE GUYS, the best but I don't think that one is xXxmas.

Matt Rose
>>97684722

THE NICE GUYS is awesome as well. As to the Christmas factor, I think only the final scene is set at or around Christmas.

Reed James

Roger said he fought in the Ia Drang valley in 65. That's where and when th battle in We Were Soldiers took place.

David Collins

Gary Busy is also in Point Break (with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze) another one you absolutely MUST see.

rakesh

This pretty much kicked off the modern buddy cop movie, it's a little bit dated now but still a great movie. I had to laugh at the end fight. When I first watched this decades ago it made sense, but now it just seems utterly ridiculous they had a knock down fight... after he killed two cops outside in the car... And Murtaugh was fine with crashing a police car through the living room!

JPDotCom23

That good looking, blonde naked girl at the beginning of the movie, that dove to her death, she played Kelly, Woody's girlfriend, in 'Cheers'

Larry Darrell
>>97563059

Had such high hopes for Predator (2018), because of the re-teaming of Shane Black and Fred Dekker. The Two guys that gave us The Monster Squad (1987). That was definitely underwhelming.

Larry Darrell

While Lethal Weapon takes place at Christmas Time and features Christmas Music and Accoutrements, perhaps the most Christmasy thing about it is the casting of the "Christmas Queen," Darlene Love as Trish Murtaugh, Roger's wife. Darlene Love recorded some of the greatest Christmas Rock and Soul songs on Phil Spector's 1963 album, A Christmas Gift for You from Philles Records. Darlene worked mostly as a back-up singer earlier in her career, and only later began to gain recognition. She has since been ranked #84 on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers List, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 and had an Oscar winning documentary made about her and other back-up singers, in 2013, 20 Feet from Stardom. David Letterman is who dubbed Darlene Love the "Christmas Queen," and I think it's fitting for one of the greatest voices ever. Winter Wonderland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1oyZQtLZ6U Marshmallow World - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA35Ehv-uEc White Christmas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZVqiyAMw1o All Alone on Christmas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1uJPGRfO5Y (features spoilers from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, if haven't seen) Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), live on David Letterman - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V2IrH1owdw (first performance at 5:00; was a Christmas Tradition on David Letterman)

Larry Darrell

Extra Thought: I love all the Lethal Weapons, and love the story that is told over all 4 films. However, if I had to choose my favorite "Buddy-Cop" film, it would be the buddy cop film set during Christmas Time released in 1986, not 1987. Running Scared (1986), directed by Peter Hyams, and starring Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal, as two Chicago detectives. The chemistry between Hines and Crystal is perfect and makes for a very comedic duo. The film is not completely a comedy and knows when to get serious. It is a lot of Fun, and features one of my favorite montages in a film, to the tune of Michael McDonald's "Sweet Freedom." There's a pretty Bad-Ass Car chase as well... on the "L."

Sean colenso

A good comedy you'd like is, The Hard Way. Michael J Fox plays an actor who wants the role of a "Mel Gibson" type cop. To get the feel of being a cop he goes to NY & teams up with John Moss, (James Woods) who is the case of a serial killer & does not have the time or patience to for a Hollywood star wanting to play cop. Please check it out as it is a good fun, laugh out loud movie.

'Pappy' Johnston
>>97761593

I totally agree The Hard Way was an awesome movie! Cassie would like it for sure! 👍🏻🙂

John Cranberry

Lethal Weapon 2 and 4 are the absolute best.

Scott

Well that was great, lets ho ho hope we don't have to wait till next xmas for the next one 🤦‍♂️

TLC408

I am so ready for your reaction for Lethal Weapon 4!
