[YT Edit] Casino Royale (2006)

Kevin

Yea! I needed some Cassie today 🤪🥰

Robert Jewell

The cool thing thing about this film is that they went back to the original 1953 novel by Ian Fleming and told that story although with a lot of added elements, but the core of the story is still the heart of the tale.

Stephen Malloy

I cannot believe all the yahoos who say Craig isn’t a good Bond.

Bill Maurer

Ladies get better and better. A great reaction, keep them coming

BlueChip300

I highly suggest watching LAYER CAKE (2004) with Daniel Craig in the lead. That movie got him the bond role. It's a great british gangster movie in the style of "Snatch". Craig has a few Bond moments in it...and looks pretty sharp.

Morgan A. Colbert

I’m so glad you enjoyed it & revisited the hot Bond question, ha! Most people don’t really like the next one but for some reason it’s my favorite. Yay Daniel Craig days!

This also works as an Origin Story for the Original Bond Films. The Events in this Film are a Part of the Original James Bond’s History, brought to life on screen by Sean Connery through Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. The Producers, Albert Broccoli & Harry Saltzman, and Writer, Richard Maibaum, knew this Story and it Influenced the Creation of the James Bond Character.

So the interesting thing about this movie is it is about him BECOMING James Bond we see him Change throughout the movie, he earns the Aston Martin, he gets the classic tuxedo and at the end he becomes that kinda cold seemingly unfeeling person that classic James Bond is when he shows up in his suit and says the famous, the name is bond James Bond, and then we finally hear the classic James Bond theme song for the first time. Also FYI the next one is not that great, it was really hurt by the fact that a Hollywood writers strike was going on so they had to kinda make up the script and do there best as they went along.

Robert da Spruce

Nice thumbnail Cassie! Although, not really sure what’s going on with those poker chips! 😂

David Conroy

He might not quite have Connery's star power, but Craig is the best *actor* to play Bond, and I think it shows here.

Zachary K.

So when are you doing Quantum Solace? Skyfall?

Bill W

Carly requires absolutely no goading to sing on camera. 🤣 Cassie: Sing it. Carly: 🎤🎼🎶🎵🤘

Bill W

All your reactions to all the previous Bond films COMBINED didn't add up to HALF the enthusiasm you guys had for this one.

I know everyone has their favorite, but I've never heard anyone say Craig isn't good.

To me, they simply aren't as good. They're a bit campy and silly compared to the new ones.

RabidMango

Where is the patreon reaction for Days of Thunder?

Michael Jung

Hmmm... Carly doesn't remember some of the movies she's seen before? Anyone else want to watch these two react to Christopher Nolan's "Memento"?

That one's great! I also recommend the SNL Sketch "James Bond Scene" where Daniel Craig's Bond tries his hand at playing craps.

Michael Jung

Who else would like to see Cassie and Carly react to the Austin Powers trilogy and "Spy Hard" after they finish Craig's Bond films?

I think she said she has seen the Austin Power movies. Maybe I'm wrong.

Jeff Rogers

Pearl jam was your best guess, that was Chris Cornell.

You couldn't pay me to watch those silly/stupid movies. She's better off watching Monty Python and their silly/stupid movies.
