Joey

Love them. They’re such feel good films.

Mike Melfa

You definitely need to do LW4. It’s another great one, this franchise doesn’t ever let you down.

Cliff Stephenson

The reason Lethal 2 feels like a summer blockbuster is because it was... Came out July 7, 1989. Lethal 3 was a bit sooner, May 15, 93. Lethal 4 is another big summer July release, so better get a move on...

Coleton B.

For the dozenth time, James the way you are received and treated is a direct result of your own actions. Your ignorant comments toward folks on the channel up to an including making inappropriate remarks to/about guests on the channel, your ignorant comments to other patrons, your ignorant comments to the moderation staff, your ignorant comments to other YouTube users and the whole children's act of making posts and then editing or deleting them later to completely alter the context of the conversation. How long are you going to beat this drum? No one is buying it and everyone is tired of this being rehashed.

Shanwyn Nightfox

Can't wait til part 4, she's gonna love it. And it would be one for Carly too.. just saying hihi

Dave

Gibson and Glover - one of the best buddy cop pairings there is. I am really looking forward to the next 2 reactions mentioned as well. Just made my weekend better than it should be!

Manuel Villacana

And I can't wait till part 4, it's my favorite out of the whole franchise

Happy Hanukkah

For 0.13 seconds, I thought that was Carly peeking out from behind Gibson et Glover. :-) [ADDED: Sorry, Carly! :-) ]

Björn Karlsson

And now over to something completely different: I really like that you requested "Beyond the border" 😍

Mike Lemon

What hosting service is this video using? Patreon? I like the diversification from YouTube, but this one doesn't allow scrolling. Maybe try Rumble? But, if not, I can open another tab I guess.

Happy Hanukkah

10:20 At the risk of turning this into The Gun Channel: You have to regularly train, especially when it comes to handguns. Unfortunately, many U.S. police departments are surprisingly deficient in this.

Mike Lemon

Renee Russo... are we now supposed to mention The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) again? Dang it, I mentioned it, now I'm going to have to watch the end again or it will drive me crazy.

Jonathan Hall

#4 is fun too. One of the rare times I like a 4th movie in a series. Man, I wish they still made movies like these.

Coleton B.

Wrong on all accounts, James. Being that you can't seem to understand this, which has been explained to you multiple times before I'll reiterate; It wasn't ME who removed you, ponder on that for a moment and allow the implications of what I just said sink in.

Mike Lemon

@Coleton - Just as someone who has been enjoying this drama since it began- "allow the implications of what I just said sink in. " Oh.... ohhhh! Interesting.

Just Plain Bob

When I first saw this entry in the Lethal Weapon series, I didn’t really care for it. Over the years, though, it’s grown in my estimation quite a bit. I still prefer the first two, but this is definitely a fun, fun movie. And the chemistry between Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Joe Pesci is absolutely fantastic. So much so that its hard to believe they’re not besties in real life, out there solving crimes at great expense to the taxpayers. 😂

Mark Daniels

Anyone who says anything bad about Lethal Weapon 4 is a heartless sonofabitch. You can’t rank them because they’re all one great thing. Every one is better than the one that came before it BECAUSE of the one that came before it. The joy is the ride - the loving family that these characters become.

Just Plain Bob

PS to my initial post: And Rene Russo was a great addition to the cast. She fits in wonderfully with the established dynamic of the main characters.

Jon Johns

You know we screen cap you comments before you edit or delete them... Which means you're editing or deleting them to avoid non-mods from seeing them. What are you ashamed of?

Larry Darrell

"The joy is the ride" I like that. I heartily agree. All 4 Films are One Big Story of One Big Family. They work Together, not individually.

Cliff Stephenson

I actually like 4 even more than 3. Not sure where the bad rep comes from. Give it a go and don’t pay attention to the naysayers. And now that you’re fully invested in the Lethal Weapon series, you should go back and revisit the bank robbery scene from Maverick… you’re going to be delighted by the Easter egg you didn’t get a year and a half ago.

Jacob Antony

Surprised you didn't catch it when they were talking scars that the gunshots wounds to Rigg's back, which pierced this lung, and the knife wound, were from the ending of Lethal Weapon 2.

Happy Hanukkah

"solving crimes at great expense to the taxpayers." Yes, Riggs strikes me as the kind of guy who would destroy a seven million dollar mini-mall to rescue a girl whose ransom is only $25,000. :-)

Happy Hanukkah

It would not be original of me to say that each movie in the series adds one new member to the family.

Wesley White

Once again, this was a great reaction Cassie, you're the best! Looking forward to you reacting to the 4th and final one! Not much for me to say than what I already said in the comments of the full length reaction lol! However, earlier today when I tuned in, like I mentioned about Mel Gibson IRL is a 3 Stooges fan and it's funny how in pretty much all the Lethal Weapon movies he does a few references to the 3 Stooges, so he basically has his character be a fan as well lol! Like I also said, besides Gibson, many Hollywood A list actors look up to the Stooges as comedic mentors, actors like Woody Harrelson, Bridgette Fonda (It Could Happen To You), etc. Are all Stooges fans! So yes, you should react to them whenever you wish of course, many YT channels do a lot of first time watching/reacting to the Stooges, and if you and Carly ever got my email I sent you a while back, you will get a taste of their comedy and my voting poll idea for watching them lol😁 One other thing I forgot to mention, I sent you a message a few days ago about a special big project I'm working on for you and Carly, on your own time, give a little look/see lol! Anyway, great reaction Cassie as always, hope the family reunion in Montana went well for you, safe travels back home, love and support always, you (and Carly) are the absolute best, see you next time, and as always [snaps fingers & winks] stay classy Cassie🥰😁😉👍🌹

The bad rep comes because they gradually became more focused on humor and romance etc. The 4th movie very different movie than the 1st. Many fans of the first (2) movies didn't like that evolution.

Michael Gilbrook

The building blown up at the beginning of the movie was the 1950s era City Hall in Orlando, FL. The night of the implosion was like a circus with spectators and news media off camera a couple of blocks away. The new City Hall was visible through the smoke after the old building fell. Coca-Cola had paid for the rights to hang a neon sign on the new City Hall and it was visible briefly after the building fell. The Coke sign was removed after filming. Amazingly, only a few windows were broken on the new City Hall even though it was only about 25 feet from the imploded building!

Adam Doyle

Now that you have seen Die Hard, and the first 3 Lethal Weapons... treat yourself to "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon", a hilarious spoof of these 80s/90s buddy cop movies.

Joe Mallard

Rush Hour, Bad Boys and the Jumpstreet movies should be the next buddy cop series.
