October scary not to scary, Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp

Nerd Jared

Woohoo!! Cant wait! Such a good movie!

Richard Bourne

Pre-World War I setting, an interesting time in history, esp. the influence of the British Empire. So much of Africa is dangerous, even to this day. Amazing to think how these two lions terrorized so many people. Incredible story, and I think the movie does a good job with two great lead actors.

Above Average Dave

Will this be featured in question during tonight's trivia? (Jeez, I feel like I'm back in 8th grade—Grade 8 for the Canadians out there. "Are we responsible for this material for the upcoming quiz!?") :)

Jeff Rogers

From wiki... "The Tsavo Man-Eaters were a pair of man-eating male lions in the Tsavo region of Kenya, which were responsible for the deaths of many construction workers on the Kenya-Uganda Railway between March and December 1898. The lion pair was said to have killed 135 people."

David

Crazy part is that the movie depicts encounters at such close range you couldn't miss with a rifle.

Richard Bourne

Cassie, your movie analysis at the end of the movie sounded like a professional movie critic. I think you are headed toward that... to be a seriously respected movie critic. I am impressed. You are moving on from a mere reactionary to a seasoned, experienced critic. This is great, do that.

Louis Chapman

Someone has a serious 90's Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer crush lol

Glad I dropped by earlier during this premiere today lol! Your reactions to this was priceless as always! Now that I got a better idea of what this movie is about, I'm now intrigued to go and watch the full length of this reaction! Like I also said, the item(s) I have for you and Carly for when you two watch/react to The Mummy (1999) finally arrived and I will send them out to you on Thursday, really looking forward for that reaction! Hope you're getting better Cassie, you're the best, love and support always🥰😁😉😇🙏👍🌹

“Remington” is a fictional character but the name Remington is real belonging to American Firearm Company Remington Arms. Additionally “Man Eater” is used for any predator that has a propensity for killing and eating humans. You mentioned you enjoyed movies about engineers, there is a good war movie about Australian Engineers/Tunnelers during WW1 called “ Beneath Hill 60”

Mark Daniels

I remember this being a must-see event when it came out. Great flick!

Rhett Merchant

Great movie! (Great reaction) A year or two after seeing the movie I was surprised to see the "Ghost and the Darkness" on display at Chicago's Natural History Museum. I had forgotten the last line of the movie. My wife said my jaw actually dropped.
