[YT Edit] John Wick 4 (2023)

I never did get around to watching this movie yet. I liked the first a lot, but the sequels to me, I felt, were just more of the same. Am I missing out by not watching JW4?

If you didn’t care for parts 2 and 3, it’s very doubtful you’d like part 4. It is very much more of the same. Which is fine, if you like high body count actioners, which I ordinarily don’t. But something about the John Wick series appeals to me, so I enjoyed the entire quadrilogy. To each his own.

It’s not that I didn’t care for them, I thought they were decent theatre movies, but I just wasn’t in a rush to see it. If it is just more of the same, I will still get to it eventually👍

Please add "28 Weeks Later" to your next Horror movie poll.

Does anyone else think that Cass and Carly would love “Firestarter” as a "Not-To Scary Scary Movie."

Same here. I just can't find the motivation to watch it. I really liked the first, but 2 and 3 were just wall to wall action. The facts that it's almost 3 hours long and a 5th one is already in pre-production don't help either to convince myself.

Jeff Rogers

Your commentary was particularly funny during this... I suppose because the violence makes you so uncomfortable. 🙂

The Louis Gossett Jr. one? ... looking... Oh, that's FireWALKER. Now it makes sense. She may like Firestarter, but the schedule is probably made out for the rest of this month. Maybe for next year?

Ria Grix

Can everyone stop with the cars! BANG!! Another car immediately hits him. 😂

You guys really missed it on the live stream of John Wick 4 on YouTube, Cassie was in rare form! She was down right spunky/feisty. I think she was replaced by a stand-up Pod Person!

Inconsequential note regarding the poker game, for Cassie. When Wick turns over his hand to reveal two pair (black eights and black aces), Killa Harkan refers to it as a “dead man’s hand.” This was not a reference to Wick’s presumed fate, but to the hand held by Wild Bill Hickok when he was fatally shot during a poker game in Deadwood, South Dakota. Hickok was a famous lawman and gunslinger of the Old West. Since his murder, two black eights and two black aces has become known as the “dead man’s hand” in remembrance of Hickok.

I wasn’t aware she did a live stream on YouTube. Are you talking about her full length reaction here on Patreon? If not, did she react twice?

Barry Justice

When she posted the YouTube Edit she watches along in real time with people who have connected to the whatever it's called. She is on live reacting to her reaction. I hope that's clear, if not maybe someone can help me describe the process?

Erik Daniel

You should have somewhere in your collection 'A Walk In The Clouds' with Keanu Reeves. Perhaps because of your love for the man, you might consider that for an after Halloween, feel good romance. It was Keanu's follow up to Speed and he was being offered tons of big budget, high paying action roles, but chose this wonderfully sweet film instead because of the story and the actors he got to work with.

David Nesbit

Did she not watch and or film the extra scene after the credits ???

When she posts the YouTube Edit to YouTube, the first time it premiers, it will give you a time count-down until it starts. You can even select a icon that will notify you when it starts. On the bottom of the YouTube Player, on the right hand side, next to the icon that would show comments is another icon that will connect you to the live comments that Cassie and everyone responds to each other during the showing of the reaction.
