I remember my dad taking me to see it in the theatre when it came out. (Was 13, lol). Can't wait to see your reaction! 😁

Sweet, can't wait to participate in the YT premiere of this! I watched your full-length of this last night again and loved it lol! I'm actually watching your full-length of TREMORS right now as I type this lol! Hopefully see you soon at the premiere, love and support🥰😁😉😇🙏👍🌹

Awesome! Can’t wait for this one. I used to visit my aunt and her family out in Santa Cruz near where this was filmed. Rode the rollercoasters at The Boardwalk and tried to learn to surf at the beach there. ☺️ Also, I love this movie. It was considered pretty cheesy at the time but has agreed into a fine cheddar. 😁

Hadn't seen this movie in eons. Brought back a lot of memories. Thanks "The Searchers"

Adam Doyle

They occasionally will have outdoor screenings of this movie, on the beach, at the Santa Cruz boardwalk (nor Cal), where it was filmed.

Chris

What about all the BIG 80's hair!?!?

Brent Petty

How did this jump Scream in the YT queue?

They often have trouble with copyright, maybe this one passed easier🤷‍♂️.

Don

This is the one I’ve been looking forward to. Absolute classic.

David Conroy

"All this for a girl" Hey, it's Jamie Gertz. Some of us were in love.

Johnny Salinas

Might I suggest "Flatliners" the original one 😀

Johnny Salinas

Directed by Richard Donnor. Director of the Lethal Weapon movies 😊

This was actually Joel Schumacher, who had a lot of good movies under his belt before he helmed the infamous "Batman and Robin."

Nathan Bishop

Haha, did you watch Hook just because this movie reminded you of it because of the name "The Lost Boys"? Also, if you like Dianne Wiest, she does an amazing job in a mini series called "The 10th Kingdom". It's an overlooked gem that is about the land of fairytales, like Snow White and such. It would be awesome to see you react to that show. And if you want another great movie where Kiefer Sutherland is the good guy, check out The Three Musketeers (1993).

I love gimmicks like that. My all time favorite was Alamo Drafthouse’s “Jaws on the Water.” They’d hold screenings of Jaws and attendees would be given inner tubes and watch, from the water, a big screen erected on the shore of a local lake. They also had scuba divers that would pull on viewers’ feet and legs, spooking them during the movie. Pure genius!!! I also stayed overnight a few years ago at the Stanley Hotel, which inspired Stephen King’s The Shining. The hotel had a channel on the TVs that only showed The Shining, 24 hours a day. So I was able to watch the movie while staying in a room at the hotel that inspired the book. Fantastic!

I loved watching you watch this one! Glad you liked the frog Brothers! Corey Feldman from the goodies and gremlins played on of them.

Don

I really enjoyed that one. This was one of my favourite films when I was a kid. Had it on VHS and must have watched it dozens of times.

Gábor Árki

Kiefer was so great in these bad boy roles. Cassie, now that you've seen it, I am curious about your opinion. Do you think it was a Carly movie as voted by YT?

Jason Rios

Just glad you finally watched it. Any requests for Young Guns 1 and 2?

Johnny Salinas

Yeah. He was the producer LOL, Fav Joel Schumacher movies are "Falling Down" and "DC Cab" 😀

I have seen photos from that Jaws one. I didn't know they used scuba divers!

Larry Darrell

If Cassie is surprised by the Bad Guy roles of Kiefer Sutherland, then wait until she sees… The Vanishing (1993), starring Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland, Sandra Bullock and Nancy Travis.

Ria Grix

The movie soundtrack was one of those tapes that everyone had at school… or at least had a tape to tape copy. Like everyone had the Trainspotting CD at University.

TV Guide was also printed in Canada from 1977 through 2006. It was a bi-weekly publication with channel guide/timetables for all programming, entertainment related news, interviews, gossip, crossword puzzle, etc. In the US it was just part of everyday culture. Some newspapers in major cities included their own version of the tv guide in their Sunday edition... but the THE TV Guide was hugely popular. Some people even collected them like Readers Digests. Even if you didn't have it in your home, you were aware of it by the tv advertisements..and it was in every grocery checkout lane.

The name "Michael" is said 114 times. Super Soakers weren't invented until 2 years later. "Don't get close. He's gonna do the jumping thing. They always do the jumping thing." That has to go on a tshirt.

Bill W

Cassie, you've seen Diane Wiest in: The Lost Boys Footloose Parenthood Practical Magic
