This really hit close to home! It made me think about my own life, doing the same chores every day, and wondering what it'd be like to live a completely different, carefree life. But then, it also made me realize how much I'd miss the little things, even picking up the kids' dirty socks. It's funny how a movie can make you appreciate your life, even the mundane parts!

Matt

Been looking forward to this one

Matt

Highly recommend THE HOLDOVERS just came out this year instantly became one of my favorite Christmas movies

pat on

haven't see this one since the cinema

R Harper

Echos of "It's a Wonder Life" appreciate your life good and bad and know you make a difference in every life you touch . . .

David Freese

Thank you for your wonderful intro. It always helps knowing someone really cares out there when you’re struggling. You continue to show me there is good in the world. As for the movie, never seen it so I’ll watch along with you for the first time. Have a great birthday week and hope it continues into the Christmas and New Years holiday

Katie Jackson

Your reaction was wonderful Cassie! I've seen this movie many times and I was good. Then the movie ended and you started talking and then I was crying too🥲. I'm glad you enjoyed the movie and I'm looking forward to The Mummy Returns.

Philip Alan

Cassie, you are incredible! Thank you for always being real and honest. Have a great day! Have a great night! Have a great week!

Andrew Rose

Thank you for your message at the start.. I'll be spending the holidays alone and it makes me feel better to know that I can come here and watch a movie with someone and maybe, if just for an hour or two, not feel quite so hollow. I think its a fantastic thing you're doing. It's necessary and it's kind. So thank you Cassie and Carly and Ben and all the rest for making things these holidays and beyond just a little bit better in my world and in others.

Erik Daniel

I don't even know what to say this was so wonderful. I've been playing the background lately like a kid holding up the wall at a grade 8 dance. Still watching every reaction but not as active in the comment section for blah reasons. That intro got me big time. As much as you needed to see this movie today, I needed to hear that and also, needed to watch this movie with you. It's a special one in the house as it was one of my Pops' favorites. So many special moments throughout, from "muddership" to "I knew you'd come back" to "la-la means I love you" to that airport speech. Thanks for this one.

Matt

Amazing reaction Cassie I'm so glad you liked it one of my favs for sure, when I was watching I was reminded of another kind of similar film I think you would like called RUBY SPARKS 2012 it was made by the same people who made Little Miss Sunshine

Roger Hagerty

I was 100% sure you would love this movie. I watch it every year, but this time I watched the whole thing with you. You owe me for a box of kleenex!

Jessi

Perfect!! It snowed overnight in my southern town (rare...) and this is the perfect way to "celebrate" lol

Eddie Perkins

This was very good and very relatable. Just like in It's a Wonderful Life, be careful what you wish for; trust me, it's no fun spending Christmas alone, no matter how wealthy you are. There is nothing I wouldn't give to have my family back. Cassie, your reaction was sincerely honest and heartfelt. And we all like to have nice things. But waking up in a home all alone can be very cold.

JL_83

a variation on It’s a Wonderful Life…always liked this one

Clay F

Heartfelt reaction. Kate (Téa Leoni) did seem like the dream wife. Arnie: "...there isn’t a guy in Union County who wouldn’t give his left nut to be married to Kate..." Having kids is awesome. Can be hard work but is rewarding. I remember wishing my kids would be older so no diapers, so they could get in and out of the car seat by themselves (then eventually no car seat), etc. Now, they are in their 20's and I miss those days.

Zane From Canada

Cassie, this is the first time I saw this movie, and you know what I think I needed this one, too. I'm living Jack's "first" life in a lot of ways right now: I'm wife and kid free, very financially well off, I drive a very sexy looking Audi that I named Red Sonja, I shop where I want when I want, I get mani/pedi's during the day, concerts and restaurants at night, etc. and I'm going to Jamaica and to Switzerland so far next year, etc. I living that rich boujee life. And I'll tell you a secret, it's a two way street. I have moments where I'm envious of those who have the "Family Man" life and all the dirty socks, throw pillows, and loads of laundry that go with it. 😄 Cause that's what's missing with me, is someone to share it all with. So as corny and cheesy as you think you're being, you're not that far off the mark. And I can take an educated guess that being a wife and mom is your most rewarding and favorite gift of all. 😁❤️ Merry Christmas and thank you. You're a wonderful person. 🥲 PS: I'm such a sucker for the song La-La Means I Love You by The Delfonics. It makes me smile everytime. 😊

Tara

I think they should’ve given us one more future scene after coffee at the airport… how about Jack and Kate married (we can see their rings) and they are coming home into a nursery and Kate is carrying a newborn baby while Jack is carrying baby stuff. They look at each other lovingly, kiss and then huddle together as we see them looking down at the baby. Zoom out and fade to black. Any other suggestions?

Tara

Oh Cassie, I’ve seen this movie a few times, but I’m so glad I watched it again with you. You brought me to tears and I’m so happy that it seemed to reinvigorate you regarding day to day chores. It is clear that you are such a great Mom and your kids may not understand picking up socks daily, but they are going to appreciate everything you did for them when they are grown and with you as their Mom, they will be amazing humans 💕

Tara

Cassie, did you know that Tea Leoni was married to David Duchovny from Return to Me. In fact, they were married to each other when both of these movies were made BTW: I’d still love to see you watch Shawshank again and maybe include a little clip from your first outro of what you thought of it then and then what you think of it now. As I mentioned in the live, you have grown so much since you started this channel.

Terry Yelmene

"He thinks this life is horrible... AND IT'S MY LIFE!" ~ Cassie I personally believe the single greatest movie reaction ever, is Cassie's of 'Rocky II', because of the incredible-wonderful things she says. This 'Family Man' is now my second favorite PiB react, because of Cassie 'not saying anything'... just showing us 'her' in her incredible-wonderful face. ...until... "Guys... I think I really needed this movie! today." Cassie has shown us all... we all should feel that way too.. Thank You, Cassie!

Mike LL

Thank you for this reaction Cassie and for watching this movie. Another one I had never seen before, but I feel thankful that I was able to watch it for the first time through your eyes. Don't quite know why my eyes were so wet by the end. No, I do know. What a great first Christmas movie for this season. Please, continue.

Grégory Gautier

👍 reaction, it's sad that he couldn't choose his "new" life😥. The cast is perfect and the movie takes us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Excellent movie!

Exactly how I feel about PIB. This channel got me thru my first holidays after divorce and during pandemic. I've only told a few people about it and no one seems to understand how this channel..Cassie and Carly have become like family.

Zachary K. (Verified Swiftie)

Cassie, I have actually had this movie on DVD since it came out. I will be totally happy with anything you watch. Sharon Tate's birthday is coming up on January 24. Just letting you know. I just love watching any movie with you. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do. I can't imagine kids, family school and this channel. So thank you. Godspeed

Paweł Kościuszko

Hey mods / Cassie. The link for "Find your own copy" is wrong.

Pickupthepieces76
>>124278620

Nah, we aren't kids that need to be spoonfed. His lesson was learned and he did somethiung about it with her and the seed for something beautiful was planted. That's all we need to know and you can fill in the blanks with your own imagination. Which you did, so that's cool, but it does not need to be in the movie.

Eric Haefele

I disagree. They will not be better people together than they are alone. They are both good people alone. But they are both missing something alone that they can only get together. They can each be happy alone but together the sense of belonging, the sense of family, the love, that they can never have alone will make their lives fuller more complete.

Daryl

Aww.. haha SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. So emotional. Great reaction!!

Andrew Roach

Wow, not just a "normal" post watch review but a heartfelt one just as sweet as the movie. Food for thought, if this movie was reversed and his average life was real and he was granted the rich life as a glimpse for just a moment he would have been amazed but losing his family would have made him almost instantly want his real life back. Saul Rubinek who played Alan Mintz grew up in Canada and he played the writer in Unforgiven.

Biggman83

I love this movie…I was actually planning on watching it this week, so when I saw it pop up I was over the moon. Thanks for making my evening better!

Rick Williams

I figured you would like it. But, I didn't think it would affect you so much. It's okay. I like cheese. You were not cheesy. Very emotional rap up. I appreciate you. Great Reaction.

Jason Dolan

In the sequel, Nicolas Cage hires two bumbling criminals to kidnap his wife to bribe Big Ed so he can get money to buy a parking lot but it all goes horribly wrong.

Mike Henderson

Thank you I forgot about this movie. I love it.

Jason Dolan

Cassie is like… what is that phone? Me: that’s the most advanced piece of technology in the world… in the year 2000.

Jason Dolan

Fun fact the guy who is living in Jack and Kate’s house is Robert Downey Jr’s father.

Canadianant

What a great start to the holiday movie season. First time watching this movie for me as well. A great movie, both tea and Nic are really good in this. As someone who quite frankly has neither side of the two lives shown, it's still nice to watch this with you. All the best to you and your family. I know you were getting kind of emotional at the end there as this really hit home for you apparently. Your family is truly blessed to have you.

Cole Jennett

This was a really great movie, and an even better reaction! I’d seen it before, maybe even a couple times, but hadn’t revisited for at least 10 years. It definitely hits differently watching it with someone who can relate to it a little more then I can. I was really feeling what you were feeling! You’re already living your best life, no glimpses necessary😊

Daniel

Finally joined the Patreon for this movie! Ive commented a few times on other videos and posts that I hoped you would watch this cause I knew youd love it! So I was so happy when I saw you were watching it!

Brian Lowery

I was shocked to find out that the ladies have not seen the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. If they liked Trading Places and Lethal Weapon, they’d love these films.

Larry Darrell

Thank You for this, Cassie. God Bless the Little Things. Looking back, they are what you remember the most.

Paul Imrie

Appreciate the effort and emotion. You are the George Bailey of this growing town. Hopefully you know the lives you and sis are touching. The world keeps spinning.

Robert da Spruce

Wonderful reaction Cassie! No need to apologize for getting a little emotional during the outro. We all have those moments in life. Whether it be a movie we watched. Or a book we read. Or something we saw on the street, etc…that remind us what’s truly important. Which we always have known. But just needed to be reminded of. I hope out went and hugged your kids and husband afterwards. On a side note, I really like the holiday motif and the jammies! 🎄😊

I completely agree. I think the ending is perfect the way it is. And I never thought about it until Cassie mentioned it but she must have in a subconscious way remembered her promise.

Bert Towle

Cassie is appreciated most days by almost 3000 Patrons and more than 100 times that many YouTube subscribers. If her flock in socks forgets how special a mom is, they'll figure it out when they have to start being responsible for themselves - and then mom will get that spa trip whenever she wants.

Annie519

This is such a beautiful and wonderful film and it is criminally underrated. Your one of the few movie reactors that's reacted to this and to me that's a shame. Nicholas Cage proves in a movie like this that he can act, yes he's always so much fun to watch but is usually really over the top but he is very subdue here, there's a couple of his Nicholas Cage freak out moments but they aren't too over the top either. He and Tea Leoni had such good chemistry and she too was really good in this. I absolutely loved her character, so likable and just a sweet and good wife and mother. The one thing I do wish is that we got more moments between him and the kids, maybe a scene or two more after the I choose us conversation in the living room. And I wish we saw Arnie in the real time, I like to think that they did end up meeting and became best friends, he was just too good of a friend not to have. My favorite scene from his is when he talks him out of having that affair. The airport speech always makes me tear up, especially when he talks about the kids, you can hear in his voice how much he misses them. This really is a great Christmas film, you can watch it any time not just the holiday season but it feels the best to watch it around this time of year.

Bert Towle
>>124258448

Perhaps Cassie could consider "Spanglish", another "family" film with Tea Leoni as a different kind of mom.

Mike LL
>>124323246

Beverly Hills Cop is currently the #1 film in the Popcorn Requests App. So its time will come for sure.

Ike

Wow, that was a great movie! It’s always a treat when you find one we hadn’t seen. “It’s A Wonderful Life,” Cassie! “Merry Christmas you old building and loan!” He was George Bailey? I’m blessed to have a family and I know it’s okay to get away and blow of steam. Some days are brought to you by the Letter -M- for Monotony. But I wouldn’t change a thing. Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni are in a movie called “Spanglish.” 4/5.

Clifton Owens

Bright Angel Miss Cassie, you're as beautiful and sweet as Tea Leoni was in this movie - Just watch those Redheads around your husband. Merry Christmas.

Odd Thomas

The Weather Man is another great Nicolas Cage movie about family

rakesh

𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲/𝗢𝗳𝗳, 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗶𝗴 and 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀 are probably the best movies of his you haven't seen. I think Snake Eyes espcially you'll like as it's a conspiracy thriller which i think you'll enjoy

Mike Lemon

He was also in one of my favorite scenes on TV- "cherry bark and almonds" on Frasier.

Grinznmore

No one can fully grasp the enormity of this human experience, nor explain the origins of our existence or its destination, but we can all sense the profound impact of love, and the wonder of the world around us. So we journey forward, embracing the unknown and the magical, nourished by love and inspired by mystery. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous and fulfilling holiday season, and a new year filled with hope, love, and wonder. Merry Christmas

N M

I joined your Patreon just to watch you watch this movie -- I knew you would love it!

J.p. Gill

I love this movie, but it always reminds me how incredibly alone I am at 40. I envy your life Cassie. Appreciate it.

Larry

I love these quotes from the movie, Kate: When you got on that plane, I was sure it was over. I left the airport afraid I'd never see you again. And then you showed up the very next day. That was a good surprise. You know, I think about the decision you made... maybe I was being naive, but I believed that we would grow old together in this house. That we'd spend holidays here and have our grandchildren come visit us here. I had this image of us, all grey and wrinkly, and me working in the garden and you re-painting the deck. But things change Arnie: A little flirtation is harmless but you're dealing with fire here. The fidelity bank and trust is a tough creditor. You make a deposit somewhere else, they close your account - FOREVER.

Esther Boogie

Ah! I recommended this as a lil bebe Youtube subscriber, and when I saw it posted I had to join the Patreon for the full length. So excited! I know you'll love it.

I actually love the closing airport scene… so beautifully lit and snowing… and leaves you wondering what they’re talking about and smiling about

Esther Boogie

Ah, that's the one I was trying to remember. It's been ages. Must watch again, thanks!

Esther Boogie
>>124680898

Oh gosh, just finished and I am crying right along with you. I don't have kids, but the movie hits me just as hard. It does make you think, and take stock of whether you're living according to your true values. What it means to love, and what the true worth of it is. Accepting that there is no perfect, but there is plenty of good enough - and that can be really, really good.

Matt Wathen

I think this might be my favorite reaction of yours. I've always loved this movie. I have 4 children of my own but they are all grown up and are living amazing lives. I've been following you for a while. I watch a lot of reaction channels. What sets you apart is your honesty and genuineness. It's not what you say during the reactions that keeps me coming back. It's the expression on your face and body language as you watch these movies that I grew up with. It feels very much like watching them again for the very first time. Thank you. 😊

My_Cousin_Mose

I couldn't bring myself to watch this one again but I checked out the outro- I'm happy for you and your family Cassie. It sounds like a very blessed life.

Phillip Bates

I have always loved this movie. It's a great love story. And your reaction was just as good. I like that it hit so close to home for you. It made your reaction that much better. There are so many beautiful moments in this movie. And you're right... the moment where he tried to stay up for her and his family so he wouldn't go back is so touching. It really is a gem and a movie.

Korny

Best reaction ever, I watch this every year and I cry every time. I’m single with no kids so it hits me in a different way. Emotions are good.

Korny

Btw, Tea was in a sitcom called flying blind. I loved her then.

And she was the 1st baseman for the Racine Belles in A League of Their Own (1992).

Terry Yelmene

2nd Holiday season re-watch of this react - Remembering how much this one meant to Cassie was... precious.
