This happened during a « Go & See » for those who don’t know what a « Go & See » it is and appointment you make with photographers or brands, but mostly photographers, just to see you for eventual upcoming projects with nothing really concrete. But this time I ended up making this series with the well known French photographer Antoine Verglas NYC based.

I went to NYC because I did not have any work in Paris. I wasn’t fitting the boxes. For many reasons, too short, too busty, too hairy, too old, too brown (yeah I know)

So a friend told me to go there and seek an agency. I found an agency, a real hard working agent, I even won a contest but man… this city…

I had to go back to Paris or I would have lost my soul.

You all noticed my interests and for those who personally exchanged with me, my way of living.

This city is definitely not for me. A lot of things are happening but it is most of the time driven by ego, money, fame and all the dirty environments and behaviors that come with, sex, drugs but not that much rocknroll so… not for me and for what I want to do with my life.
