We have decided to exclusively start sharing information about our secret new IP on patreon only.





We've been mostly working on employment contracts, vocal auditions, and early planning work for this game for a few months now. With the completion of Liberation Day, Shining Song Starnova (SSS) will now enter full production.

Project Title:   SHINING SONG STARNOVA

Tagline:                Stars shine so bright...

                                ...Only when they die.

System:               PC, Steam (all ages version),Denpasoft (18+ version)

Synopsis:

When seven worst idols are cut from their production

company, it falls on you, Mr. Producer, to bring them back together for one

last chance at stardom.

Tentative Features

-Build up affection with your idols, and then use your affection points during lives to put on a good performance

-Good performance will increase the popularity of your idols

-Make money to buy your idols new costumes and accessories

-Each girl has their own route... with 7 routes, this will most likely be the biggest scenario we will ever write

-Animated HCGs, voiced by top Japanese eroge talents

-An album of Starnova idol songs, sung by top Japanese eroge talents 

-Tentative release date: 2017?

We're currently holding the voice auditions right now, and should have a cast list soon.

Excellent, always a fan of seeing what is on the cards - I'm sensing an idol showdown with the Sunrider cast in the finals? :) Is it safe to assume Sunrider is getting shelved until the completion of Shining Song Starnova?

with 7 routes, I think it'll be longer than Sunrider Academy. Probably will be the longest script we've made.

I doubt it, there's a lot of planning work (market analysis, designing, hiring) to do for future games which generally gets done months in advance before a game's announced. (eg. Academy was in planning stages during the development of MoA months before it was publically announced.) Sometimes it's convenient to do things simultaneously, like we could get agreements made in regards to the cast for Starnova while we were also recording voices for LD. Most of it remains secret though so people will never know. :x

Awesome that is what I like to hear, thanks for the response. I guess now we play the waiting game while These ideas flesh out. Although I hope you treat us to the odd hint bomb if something Sunrider-ery comes up. :)

Alright. I'm in. Not really Sunrider Academy 2: The B Team Waifus but I'll take it. Until we get any information otherwise I'm assuming the pink haired on is Claude slumming it for a bit.

Actually I am also going to make a prediction that Namu is actually Claude and she changed her hair style so she could slip into another game dimension. It seems like the sort of thing she would do. xD

how many CGs/HCGs will you planning in this game? it seem to 40$+ full price game. i think this price range general Eroge have 15+ HCGs/5+ CGs (those are base CG. not count any variation) each character at least. and what is game genre? I was focused on first 3 line of "Tentative Features". it seem to management game /w VN. (like sunrider academy) also when is this game information to public ? btw, "voiced by top Japanese eroge talents" it only song and Hscene? not full voice like Sunrider:LD ?

I do hope this has more content than S:A. That game felt really empty beyond the common route, and the scenes after obtaining gold medal etc felt very bland.

Looks really interesting. Thought half of the cast does look very similiar to the cast of Sunrider. While I do like the cast of Sunrider, I think it would be a nice change if this game had a cast that would differ a bit more from the sunrider series, as the same cast was used in multiple games already.

Wait. Is this like a Princess Maker? Because hell fucking yes I am all over this! I really like management sims spliced with romance games like this! Just please don't screw me horribly with a RNG that makes me want to become John Conner and gun down every machine I see! xD

I don't think it'll be full voiced, it'll most likely be partially voiced since the game's script will be too long. There'll mostly be system voices, voiced Hscenes, and songs. It's like Academy with 3 more routes, so it'll have a lot of CGs, but I don't know how many yet.

It's pretty simple stat-wise... You just have to worry about the girls' popularity, affection, and your money. No RNG in this game. =w=;;;

That means it's an actual management sim? You're making my day! These games probably take a year or so production, though, right? That means it'll be coming out just as I get super busy studying for my medical boards. Well, can't win them all!

First of all, THANKS A LOT FOR LIBERATION DAY! You guys did a nice job with that game! Well done :) Now, as for this game, the concept looks really interesting, but if I'm allowed to speak... I really don't like the idea of "closed routes", like the ones you implemented on Sunrider Academy, where you press a button and choose a path to go down. I'm a much bigger fan of mixing the stories and then letting the player's choices narrow the options. For example, calling girl A to go out, instead of closing all other routes, would diminish girls B and C affection towards you. However, if you invest time with girl B, you can still call her out - causing damage to girls A and C affection. I know this must be hell difficult to code, but if you could pull this off it would be tremendously awesome. In any case, I'll be following this game's development closely :) Good luck!

I have to agree, at least partially. I wouldn't mind a chance to go out with Claude, but having young Ava sharing the screen with adult Ava does feel awkward... Also, no Chigara, please... We already got down this path, much more than I'd like...
