I feel like the only proper response here is to go for the Kaguya option of giving them all challenges that they must complete to become Center. Like keeping your pet knife at home! Not smoking or drinking! Not acting like jailbait! In short: You can be the Center when you're not a problem anymore. Until then, Sasami can be the Center. She'll probably be there as Center forever that way, but hey! From now on, I will use the position of Center as a reward for character development! ...If only that were an option...

Some bands have people alternating as centers through their performance. I don't watch many but this one group some family folks were watching did that in their performance. Also I like Dustin's comment.
