DR. VIDEO MEGA-DROP (Patreon)

Hey All -

Dr. VIDEO dump, here.

(Though, YES, Dan and I are working on new material together, for those wondering. That, and upcoming CONSUMER recordings are where my guitar has disappeared to...)

As always, whenever a new streaming soundtrack is collected for Bandcamp, you are privy to a direct download here. (Vol. 4)

If you didn't catch them last time, here are folders for the rest. (Vol. 3, Vol. 2, Vol. 1)

This material is actually "old" in Dr. VIDEO years, in that it is from September and October 2021. I can hear myself working through some programming and sequencing tricks that feel much more developed now, even if it's only a few months later. With that said, I also feel that Secret Underwater Base is one of the best pieces I've ever come up with. Probably a cool place to be.

I also encourage you to check out the SeeDrVIDEO YT channel, if you haven't already. Cody really killed it with the viz for "Ready Set Rippin'" (tune also features Ian, from CONSUMER & the HANL live band). The Holiday Lights stream is pretty intense, too - those pieces will be out as Vol. 5 after I have some time to improve the mixes. They're largely drum-machine free and, honestly, pretty downbeat and sad. Most of them are entirely based around the tiny Korg SQ-1 sequencer, which I became obsessed with in November after watching it collect dust on my shelf for a long time.

If you haven't made the jump to @SeeDrVIDEO Twitch to catch live streams (often announced on IG through @massivesubsidies or @seedrvideo), you are still encouraged. However, Cody and I have decided to focus on curating more discrete clips for YT (also see: "The Augur") for the near future. If you get a notification that Dr. VIDEO is live, hop on, though expect to be sitting in on the visual maestro cutting a take rather than having the option to jam "I DESIRE REFRESHMENT" in the chat.

Maybe we'll do an ELHR greatest hits stream sometime soon.

I'm curious - would people buy a VHS tape of this stuff?

YOU'VE GOT IT
