in which Alya gets some answers, but they're not answers she wants, and Feralnette finally opens up the only way she knows how - after several blunt force trauma whacks to the head and she's too discombobulated to keep up the act

this part was surprisingly hard to script, specifically because I didn't want the whole thing to be talking heads... and to emphasize how Marinette keeps her back to Alya because although she's being somewhat honest with explaining how their "blowup argument" caused Marinette to cut her off, she's still not willing to mend that bridge, mostly because she sees no reason to do so

I almost feel bad for Alya. The feeling when you realize just how bad you fucked everything up ia not a kind one. Worse she still doesn't have the full picture.

Oof, this one hurt. And I mean that in the best way possible. And I honestly feel bad for Alya. She's not evil, she's just a kid who made a series of dumb mistakes, and it's costing her a friendship. I really hope Alya takes this lesson to heart, and that she and Marinette can rebuild at least a new version of their relationship once Marinette's in a better headspace. Maybe I just believe too much in second chances.
