I realized I haven't really been sharing (anywhere really) some of the little personal sketches and doodles I've done between projects lately. A lot of it has been that some of them are super experimental or personal - but I wanted to go ahead and do an upload of some of my projects.1) Namely, the biggest one is a tribute to my mother in law - she was diagnosed right around Thanksgiving with a malignant brain tumor - and that has been hanging heavy over my wife and I since learning of this. Her husband described a mental image of her as a knight fighting a dragon representing the cancer - and that stuck with me and I wanted to draw this for them. So it's been a rough holiday season for my wife and I - but I'm ready to share this / the art/other miscellany. 2) Odelay - our livestock guardian dog - as the front of a card for her to go along with this art - Odelay is her favorite of her "granddogs" 3) A little digital doodle of Lilupa, our youngest fur kid - trying some experimental / rougher color techniques4) Some rough digital doodles of Barret - my main OC right now and in a long running D&D game5) my favorite of the face drawings - working on some more digital sketching6) A silly self-indulgent Barret I doodled attempting the Helluva Boss/ Hazbin Hotel style

I might like to see more Helluva/Hazbin work from you. A little bit of trivia: in 'The Princess Bride', Mandy Patinkin (the actor who played Inigo Montoyo) envisioned the Six-Fingered Man as the cancer that killed his father. So during the final duel, Christopher Guest (who played Count Rugen) was genuinely afraid that he might be injured for real.

Oh wow, I didn't know that bit of trivia - that's a powerful story. And understandably that that shook Christopher Guest! Thanks for the comment - and I had fun with the Helluva fanart :3
