Good morning!  I've got a great batch of art to share with you all this morning!  A BIG batch of Cabin in the Woods thanks to some great sponsorship around the holidays! We've also officially hit 200 pages for Cabin in the Woods: The Documentary!  Holy cow!

Including, the start of a change I know at least a few of you have really been looking forward to: Amanda's mane!I had a lot of fun with this batch, and I hope you all enjoy it! ^.^ADDITIONALLY, I'm getting CLOSE to the point I'll be wanting to bring in two new characters.  It may still be a few months out, BUT, I plan on doing another auction to have someone sponsor a character AND I will also do a give away  here on Patreon for a 2nd character.  More details to follow, and there will be some guidelines as far as making sure the character keeps to the setting, but more details will come later about that :)

Love this update for cabin in the woods. I'd definitely love how red would get along with these characters. Let's see how it goes with the auction and giveaway

Small typo on page 15, Amanda not Carla. Otherwise noice.

Oh my, this is a great update! I love the panel of Amanda’s mane growing in and her face changing more, I’m curious if Carla will go outside and try to speak to the witch again but end up running into another donkey and being finished off while Jack and Amanda are stuck inside or if Carla will try amd stop them from changing more. Otherwise wonderful update ❤️👌🏻

Master-TF

This was a very amazing and lewd batch! Still loving this series so much! <3

arania

Ah thank you for catching that - I'll edit it before it gets added to the site :)

arania

Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

arania

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it! :D

I have... Many thoughts about the latest developments... 1) I think Carla might've been able to stop them had she tried to knock Amanda out by Mule kicking her in the head (which probably would've snapped Jack out of the lust just out of shock of seeing her friend resort to such an act). 2) Since we now know the cabin can change stuff such as files on a laptop, I wonder if it could mess with the documentary Amanda's been recording? Maybe they show it to the new characters and (aside from the recording of her pleasuring herself earlier on in the story) it shows "recordings" of the characters that have been altered (that either Amanda or Jack realize that is not what they originally recorded) to make it sound like they're saying something else (possibly something nasty about the other behind their back) which leads to tension or strained relations with each other. 3) I've been wondering if some of the diaries were actually created by the Cabin's magic rather than its victims. Maybe a diary about Carla, Dee, Keith and Piper shows up at some point that the others find (once Carla finishes). Perhaps it could be "written" by Carla despite the other two KNOWING she couldn't have done so which disturbs them? Maybe its contents could twist a few details on what actually happened? 4) Isn't the character of Arthur in Disney's Sword Of The Sword depicted as a minor? It might be worth adding an insert page of earlier in the movie to clarify he is visibly aged up and one of the three sense something seems different but shrugs it off. New blood on the horizon, woo!

arania

Hmm, I had intentionally not shown anything graphic in the "new scene" in the art just because Disney, but I hadn't realized Arthur was meant to be as young as he was until you said something and I googled it (especially with the scene itself being oddly risque' even by itself). I might very well toss in a throwaway line of dialog about Arthur/Wort looking a little different/older just to cover my bases. Some interesting thoughts and suggestions - at this point I don't think the Nymph's spirit is necessarily trying to sew dissent between the characters so much as driving the curse onwards and... other purposes that will become clearer later as the story progresses, but the spirit is definitely starting to be able to wield more influence, isn't she?

What a great batch! Loved watching Amanda’s mane come in thicker and fuller. I can’t help but imagine the opposite is coming soon to Jack with his hair falling out.

Arania; Under the october 9 cabin in the woods post I asked you a question about the plot regarding why she altered the ecology the way she did. You never answered.

arania

You're right - I didn't.

arania

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, Jack can't keep his hair forever, but I'm leaving it for a biiit longer :)

arania

Look - ultimately I don't want this to turn into THAT much of a horror where the characters kill each other. Ultimately, the Dryad isn't looking to kill the victims either - it's better for her if their punishment is continued, and not just death.

Reverb

I never said anything about killing or death! I was simply asking asking why she changed things the way she did after imprisoning them. None of that horror even came into mind when I asked the question.

arania

Then I'm not really sure what you're asking - I know you'd asked about why the mating instead of hunting? As far as like why the rut changes into a competition from when you normally have two stags - it's just how things would adapt when all the enchanted animals are effectively now the same gender. There are no once-human does only. So they all have the competitive stag impulses. It wasn't necessarily something the Nymph planned out, but think a ripple effect of changing the ecology and life finding a way.

Reverb

You mean that the change in animal behavior is a consequence of the Nymph making them herms?

Reverb

Under the october 9 cabin in the woods I asked "why would the dryad alter it in this way?". To clear your confusion about what I meant, what I'm asking is; for what reason did she choose to make them herms?

Reverb

1) There's still room in the story for her to do that. On that last page they haven't come yet. She could do it on the one after that. 2) It seems to only affect stuff that was brought to the cabin. The steamy novels, the animal books and the movie were all made outside the this forest, before they got trapped in it while the journals and footage made while at the cabin so far appear unaltered.

arania

For the herms: Honestly, the behind-the-scenes reason is it was one of the stipulations from the original commissioner back when this was a commission. The in-universe reason is to drive the ecology of the realm, to allow them to reproduce and begin to repopulate the world for the damage they'd done (as all the original group of cultists were all men) - and to also drive their lust. 1) - I've already plotted out the next scene :) It's been a while since they've changed in the pages, and I want to push them forward again. And a donkey kick to the head if she doesn't know her own strength could be legit dangerous. 2) interesting observation!

Reverb

One thing I'm unclear on. Is driving their lust part of the goal of repopulation or or is it for some other reason? If it's the latter then what is that reason?

arania

Partially, but also partially a fitting punishment for the specific way the Nymph was wronged.
