Okay!  Based on the responses to the starting condition, instead of making a poll, here's what I'm going to do:Jasmine will start out completely human, but her first change will be her tail, and her manhood will grow in early.SO! WE'RE ALL DONE BUILDING THE CHARACTER:SO WE HAVE:

- Jasmine, ex-researcher grad student turning into a herm anthro horse- Violet or Vi -  Woman ->  herm feral pig  - Kieran: M - Anthro M Goat - Starts out fully human

FINALLY:

Let's do a bit of community building on the story as a whole!  I've got some great ideas inspired by the new characters for a few plot points, and some suggestions from Violet's and Kieran's creators for some of the initial interactions in the new room, but I have a few directed questions.I will not be doing a poll after this, but will be taking notes and combining some of the ideas that I like and work well together to finish out my story notes!

- What was the scientists' goals?  Why are they turning kidnapped people into farm animals?

- You can also suggest any plot details, background ideas, or story beats - essentially, any other ideas you have for Captured Barn.

Things I have already decided on:- Jasmine brief backstory: she was doing the purely research for the organization - but didn't know it was being used practically on people.  When she found out - was going to go public with it/be a whistleblower and they found out and turned on her.- the ending of the story - I have an idea I think you all will like.- what happens to the scientists- A few details with linking up the characters and the climax, but I don't want to give everything away.

AS A NOTE: you are welcome to write as much as you like in a response - but be aware I might take parts of a longer suggestion but not the whole / change details to work with my ideas or combine it with other peoples' suggestions. You can also "like" other peoples' suggestions or make comments on them so I can see what are popular ideas :)

I will leave this "open" at least until I start working on the next batch in September.

I may respond to ideas or make my own comments in the comments section below :)

As a note, someone on the last open suggestion round had suggested a source for the transformative chemicals that I -liked- but am having a hard time reconciling with with being specifically real-world farm animals. I'm open to suggestions - either to explain why farm animals, or alternate suggestions for sources. Original suggestion: "Source is a creature that's.. pure HPL Cosmic horrors of wtf! Multiple breasts, all producing thus transformative milk. That would keep the comic open to "were the scientists completing a cult for what could potentially be A Great Old One?" Or were they experimenting on this creatures bodily fluids?"

Scientist's goals was probably some sort of fertility/virility program

I’m just seriously excited to see the new characters in action! Very interesting to see what is going to happen with the only male subject. Good thing he’s starting fully human! SO HYPED! 🥰💕

There is a big organization behind the scientists, and all the scientists are hired for a high fee. The big organization wanted to start a business of turning people they wanted to eliminate into animals. They turned their attention to barnyard animal, which are easy to use as animals. The process of gathering innocent subjects and experimenting on them. Jasmine was chosen as a test subject because she was disgusted by the inhumane research. To humiliate her, she was transformed into Herm. I would like to see a pandemic occur for some reason and the scientists who ingested the bodily fluids of the subjects are also transformed into barnyard animals.

I, for one, would like to see Natalie take her clothes off before they get torn away, and subsequently join Chloe as a non-morphic animal, albeit with more of her prior personality intact than their bovine friend

I'm so happy you put this! Perhaps this creature producing the milk, did originally make deformed monsters. But that's why the scientists are experimenting on it. So they can alter it and make something more "normal". Once it's perfected... release it on the world.

Would be cool for a more "real" approach the scientists were creating a syrum to target big name individuals. Or they are a cult, and are trying to start doomsday! I did say it would be cool to do a "Released Barn" comic where the world starts to suffer the effects of the syrum. Heh... I dunno what you have in mind for the ending. But pull a "cube" ending where this new girl gets out and informs "big powers" of the scientists. Little does she know this was the plan all along... and armageddon begins! All I can picture with the scientists is it's a weapon.. even a weapon like this would be DANGEROUS in the wrong hands.

I might like to see a scene where the scientists are already planning the next experiment. Possibly as a sequel hook, or maybe the test subjects escape before they can do anything.

I like this idea too! Possible explanation: What if the creature was originally another scientist working on a series of gene therapy treatments for livestock productivity, who had a lab accident and ended up getting transformed by all of them at once? Then the rest of the scientists THOUGHT they'd summoned a Great Old One in their lab, when it was really just Dave with eighty extra breasts. They've been testing the fluids on other people to discover the Deeper Meaning behind the transformations (which doesn't exist). Possibly the transformed people can understand what the creature's saying, while regular humans can't?

How about instead of a Great Old One, it's a captured nature/harvest spirit, something more sympathetic. It's a hermaphrodite and both its milk and cum are transformative. Being a harvest spirit would explain why it only produces barnyard related animals. The scientists are trying to stabilize it's transformative features. The animal tf aspect only started occurring after capture. Before that it was more general enhancements. They want supersoldiers, pharmaceutical drugs, and perhaps other more nefarious uses. This angle provides hooks for future stories and even a goal to somehow end this maltreatment. I'm a softy. I like happy emdings.

I do really agree with JourneymanIKs idea with having an old nature spirit who’s a hermaphrodite. I think it’s a great idea to make the milk but also the cum transformative, maybe because of this effect do they all transform more because of there „urges“. Would leave some opportunities open to maybe have the spirit escape / have the scientist loose control over their creation
