THIS IS UNFINISHED, AND HAS SECTIONS OF BLANK-NESS FOR TIMING, OVERLAYS ARE NOT COMPLETED.

The latest Counter-Strike 2 update quietly overhauled Source 2’s animation and AI systems — and in doing so, leaked a ton of HLX content. This is the clearest sign yet that Valve is getting ready to ship something.

Hey Tyler, I'm not sure if you know this or if it looks like ass or not. But, if you're using OBS to record your gameplay you can add a filter to your display/game capture that can scale it to 16:9 so it doesn't get cut off or letterboxed <3

I truly wonder what the gimmick might be for this game in terms of the gameplay. I know valve usually uses their games a vessel for showcasing technical innovations but from this info dump I’m just assuming it’ll be mostly ai NPC and player interactions. Im personally hoping they take risks when it comes to the storytelling .

I know it won't happen but imagine if the game gets unveiled at the Nintendo direct tomorrow

If I had to guess, configurable lightweight bodies are probably small physics objects. Game engines will usually refer to physics objects as “bodies”. So we’re talking about tweaking different properties of a physics object that is “lightweight”, or simple on the physics system. I could be wrong though

Hey, Tyler. Great video. Your gameplay footage is a cropped, and it seems to become more cropped as the video progresses. The UI elements like ammo and health counts are getting further and further off the screen. It looks a bit unpolished and distracting, and it would be great if it could be fixed for the final release. XephOr.Tech already pointed this out in their comment and suggested a solution, but thought I'd repeat for visibility.

Loving the news! I did not stop believing and I still think we will get an announcement this year, possibly on Game Awards. I cannot fucking wait for this.

Hey, can you post the overlays here so we can read them now?
