With the release of HLA’s developer commentary update, I had an excuse to play through the entire game, end-to-end again, with the added bonus of deep dives of the game's production history from the voices of those who made the game possible. However, being as intimately familiar with the project as I am, having been reporting on it’s every detail for over four years, I was not expecting to hear much that I didn’t already know. I was wrong. I learned a lot about my game of 2020, and today I want to go over the coolest stuff from that lot. This is everything I learned from HLA’s DevCom, right from the mouths of Valve.
