This is also why I didn't post today. I'm disgusted in this. Racism is in NO way okay and if you still choose to believe it is, keep that shit to yourself.

How do you hate a race based off the color of their skin and then proceed to threaten to wish death on a BABY and threaten rape AND murder? You're a million times worse.

I'm disappointed. So very disappointed.

I LOVE MY VERY BLACK, VERY KIND, VERY HANDSOME BOYFRIEND. I LOVE BEING A PERSON OF COLOR. If my black boyfriend or my Japanese-Puerto Rican nationalities offend you, kindly disappear. You're not welcome here.

2026-09-05 03:00 I'm late to the discussion and I apologize if this makes things unpleasant, but... I'm early gen x, and I'm from halfway to the North Pole- A Yankee from the highlands of the Northeast Kingdom. I really and truly thought that racism and bigotry was a thing of the past when I was in the school, I thought that all got sorted with the Civil Rights movement. Then I enlisted in the Navy and saw the rest of the world. Turns out, not so much. I learned two things about it: 1. There isn't so much love in the world that it needs to be Stamped Out because it doesn't meet some specific definition. Live by the rule that everything is cool just so long as nobody gets hurt. Color, race, gender... Peace and happiness is A result of infinite diversity in infinite combinations. 2. Some people aren't taught that intolerance from the day they're born, they are programmed and they're mentally lazy so they never examine their beliefs, never think about what they're really doing. But the world IS changing. It's dreadfully, frustratingly slow, like waiting for the last 88 Minutes at work, waiting for your hair to grow. But it is happening. Unfortunately it is apparently human nature to divide and to indulge in US versus them, but at least it seems to be dying out, however unsatisfactor release slowly. People now that subscribe to intolerance are much more circumspect than they were a century ago. That individual would never express themselves like that where they could be overheard by others and shouted down. Take it for what it's worth. The musings of a poet and philosopher, sailor, FireMedic, raconteur, DJ and singer. And I know how hard it is to remember, When faced with the outrageous slings and arrows dipped in the vitriol of an ignorant bigot, but they're really are more good people out there than nasty ones. They're just less obvious because they don't make so much noise. If you haven't already, you might check out a wonderful, beautiful 50-year-old comic fantasy called Elfquest. I think you'll find it to be a pleasant surprise, and it is available online at Wendy and Richard Pini's elfquest website. As an added bonus, Sunny straight, the voice of Krillin in the Toonami era DBZ is an artist Wendy trusted to work on the project with her. If you care about that sort of thing. 😅 I'll shut up now. Scientifically, race is a construct, those are the facts. Nationalities aren't. as they indicate someone's origin of birth, but they still aren't scientifically different from the next person. The only way you have to differentiate an item from a person is by saying a human vs nuts, a human vs meat, a human vs milk. When it all comes down to it, these boxes we put ourselves in only harm us. Gay or not, we're human. Black or white, we're human. Catholic or Christian, we're human. But when you put a choice into the mix, it raises conflict.
