Hello!

v0.4.0 is now published and I hear your feedback. Thanks very much, this motivates me even more. ❤️

But I know there are a lot of bugs, especially in multiplayer. And a stupid bug is making Talas very difficult to make angry so he doesn't stomp or vore you. I will try to publish a hotfix to correct this AI bug and some other bugs before the end of the month. So you won’t need pay another month to get the fix.

This won't be v0.4.1, Just a hotfix: v0.4.0.1

And to finish, thank you so much for the support. It's crazy that this month I will get 2500€, more than my previous animation job.

See you soon :3

Awesome! Thank you for all the hard work you're doing! :D

Micro530

Big thank you, your work is just awesome !! thank again 😙

Hey, your game is really awesome, I can't wait to see what the final version will offer us! I just have a quick question for you, would it be possible to add an "on/off" option for some game features? Let me explain, I wouldn't like Talas to eat me, because I don't like vore. So I thought it would have been nice to have a "vore on/off" option for the AI. What do you think of my idea?

HermitBird

Yay! Glad to hear that this is a bug, because I wanted to get eaten and I thought I wasn't angering them enough. I assume that being out of reach and dodging grabs causes anger.

The only issues I encountered aside form the no agro was my occulus link kept disconnecting on me every minute or so until the game crashed. I'm guessing it's more an issue of my hardware than the game though

Barefootstallion

No worries about my support going away. I haven't supported you only for your game. You're a friendly and decent person, and pleasant to talk to. It will be my pleasure to continue my support. ^^ And of course, I am looking forward to the hotfix, too. ;)

HyperMushrambo

Just in case there are any other actions that are supposed to be associated with his low-aggro state, the only action he will take is to sit down with his feet out. If I move, he'll follow and sit down again. If I move to a higher plane he will grab me (which seems slightly messed up when he does, all I see is hair) and then set me on the floor, and then sit down again. I have gotten him to stand up on the glass table but otherwise that's it. I haven't explored his bedroom yet so I'm not sure if there's anything there missing but otherwise those are my findings. I cannot describe how happy I am this game is out though and I'm really looking forward to the hotfix. It took a little bit of fighting with the Rift to use the free movement (entirely the Rift's fault not the game) but I got there in the end! I do ask though, is there a free rotation for the camera instead of the stuttering snap x-degrees movement? I did look through the settings but that I couldn't find.

Maurice Coyote

In the meanwhile, are there any commands we can put in the debug menu to make him more angry?

SubHuMANT

I'd love to see a way to not respawn in our little house ... and have to do the entire thing again if we do get stomped.

You can get back into the living room a lot faster by opening the pipe in the wall under the shelves. If you're in VR, you can actually reach through and open it from the wrong side if you get close enough; it's still a little bit of a hike, but probably twice as fast as doing the whole climb and trek through the attic. Or if you're really lazy, you can go into game master mode, move the camera, and when you go back to playing as a micro you'll spawn wherever the camera is (if in VR, hit K to switch to desktop, move yourself, then hit K again to go back to VR).

You can also enable immortality in the game master menu to prevent needing to respawn at all, though an option to respawn in place would be nice

Thanks! :3 About the game features yeah that possible, some people speak me about this and I will add option in profile settings :3 But I will not add this for the hotfix

BleuRaven

Yeah that look like and hardware problem but I'm curious about the crash, you can send me the crash lod? You can post it on the GitHub

Sean OReilly

Ah there was no log generated. The issue seems to be an underpowered USB port for the occulus link cable. It kept disconnecting and the constant reconnection and disconnecting was what caused steam be to crash not the game.

Thank you! ^v^ For the moment no free rotation or smooth rotation but you not alone to ask about and I think that a good idea :3 I will add this but not for the hotfix

That's awesome! I really hope the reception encourages you to keep developing because you have SUCH a talent for this.

Hahaha! I was thinking the other night, it would be awesome if we had a way to give Talas the finger or something. Or anything like that, any kind of taunt, to really make him annoyed and really want to come after us!

Fauxtail

I've noticed that in non-VR there's the ability to interact with certain things like the keyboard or the flashlight, being a little gremlin turning things off/on around the place would be a fun way to taunt.

Ropax

Where can we find the hot fix? and is there any special instructions to downloading it?
