Some people could not place the throw or pillows on the sofa, so footprints were removed from each the pillows and throw in order to avoid  this issue. Alternatively if you still continue to have the issue please use  CTRL + SHIFT +C in game tto bring up the cheat console and type the following cheatcode:  bb.moveobjects on. This cheat code allows you to move objects in game freely.
