Cocking a Keeper (Patreon)

Once long ago, the Keepers were agents of the Druids; trained and sent out to find dangerous antediluvian artifacts, knowledge and talismans so they can be safely stored away from the world. When the Keepers learned of the depths of the Druids work to keep important histories and discoveries from the population they broke away. Most of the Keepers were hunted down and destroyed by the Knights Arcanus, the ancient protectors of the Druids. Those who hid keep themselves secret and try find the secrets still left to find before they are lost to the Druids. The Druids have stopped actively hunting the Keepers as their numbers are so low they are not a threat, but if the Keepers ever reveal things the Druids would rather have left undiscovered, there will be hell to pay.

The Keepers have a great deal of respect and admiration for the Amaroki of the North. Their Imakandi warriors often are great help in deciphering what old artifacts are and what they do... discretely. Often, some Keepers make personal arrangements for the services of these warriors. A service for a service as it were.
