The Keepers and the Kept by Ongi (Patreon)

Taryn and Luna are both Keepers. Part of a society and culture of pugilist who keep and record the truths and secrets of the world. Originally founded by the Druids, the Keepers began to be disenfranchised with hiding information or destroying it centuries ago, they eventually began to instead Keep this information, angering the Druids.

Despite ending their support and relationship with the Keepers, the Druids never sought to punish or discourage the group. Instead warning them about what Secrets must be Kept. The Keepers are very careful not to anger their ancient benefactors, even today.

Because of this, they often have a unique relationship with other factions. Taryn of course enjoys competition with other worthy fighters, and to the victor goes the spoils.
