The power of Altair's blade depends on the energy that her medal can deliver. Since her medal's attribute is "burst" it can deliver an insiane amount of energy for a short time so her blade can be insanely powerful. 

However, if she's exhausted and her medal can't produce enough energy, her blade would dissipate even against a potato.

From the Anime canon, apparently a medabot can also take energy from their mastyer, so if the master is determined and energetic, the medabot would also be determined and powerful. 

If this is also true for Altair, at the moment she's getting the power from the most powerful whale bull in the whole ocean...
