Possible Price Increase for Patreon due to Apple OS Tax Hike (Patreon)

Hello. So yeah no one likes seeing this. And I don’t like doing it. After 6 years I have kept my prices the same. But with Apple taking more and more money everytime some one signs up using the Apple app rather than going through the desktop version or even a website version on your phone, Apple keeps that money and it’s not a small chunk either.

This wouldn’t go into effect until 2027 if needs be but I am trying to prevent that. So please, PLEASE, if you are an Apple user and have signed up for a membership through the App, cancel it and sign up through the desktop version. You’ll also be saving money this way. Unfortunately there is no off switch for me to press to prevent you from paying through the app. Just know you pay more and I don’t see a cent of it.

thank you and I’ll see you all this weekend with new posts.
