Light Yagami

this episode seemed a little off then I realized it was the super sized version

Yea I was like I swear I haven’t seen half of these scenes they really cut this episode down for the regular version

It’s the Peacock version. Peacock has all the extended versions of episodes

Light Yagami

hopefully the next two episodes you watch are the regular sized ones

Extended episodes are so much better, literally just more of a good thing. It's a massive shame more people don't do them and complaining about more Office content is actually insane. They're also much more true to the writers vision.

the quality of the extended scenes is shit. The jokes are not funny - there is a reason they were cut

Yea, network demands. The script already goes through several cuts by the actual writers before they start shooting. Everything they shoot is what they felt was worthy of filming. Then the editors come in and ruin it to format it for 21-22 minutes. It has literally nothing to do with the content itself and the content is more of the same great stuff. What a terrible take.

Really just the dumbest take I've ever seen. The extra content is just as good and drastically improves the episodes. No it doesn't "automatically mean good", no fucking shit, but in this case it is nearly all great. Some of the best bits in the series are extended cuts.
