Newgrounds ... (Patreon)

As with all social media Newgrounds is infested with garbage people. I've just about reached Witt's End (Witt's End is the final puzzle in the PDP11 game Adventure). Newgrounds limits the size of HTML5 games to 1GB which seems big until you look at TBT. We'll pass 1.5 GB for the download version soon. I never anticipated this game could even get that big.

The compression required to cram a 1.5 GB game into a 1GB maximum size has become really ugly. I'm sick of getting comments like this at Newgrounds.

Basically saying "Fuck you for keeping it free". It's amazing how supportive people here at Patreon are while Team Leach at Newgrounds bitch loudest about something that's fucking FREE. Why the living fuck do people feel entitled to bitch about something given to them absolutely free?

So here's the inside scoop that only the wonderful people who take the time to join Patreon, even as free tier members, will know. My temporary fix is that The Big Thaw at Turanga-Pages will be an uncompressed version of the game. I don't know if I can keep that up because I have to pay for bandwidth at Turanga-Pages. I'll have to watch and see if blows up my server bill.
