How to survive the Darkness (Patreon)

This puzzle is actually really simple. But, even when you know the solution you have to be fully aware. The answer is literally on the screen all the time but you can't see it. All you need to do is reach out with all your senses to perceive that which can not be seen in the darkness. You must use all of your senses to solve the puzzle and awaken from the darkness.

Your eyes can deceive you

One of your 5 human senses is telling you something.

Feel the answers flowing through you

Read carefully and you will find a sense that is not among those that sense nothing. You have 5 senses use them all.

You've taken your first step into a larger world

With each step in the puzzle there is one sense missing from the ones that detect nothing. Focus on that sense.

You have to successfully use all 5 senses to awaken form the darkness. Once you've used a sense it will no longer be among the missing sense. This narrows down the possible questions as you gradually solve the puzzle.

Note: The senses will appear in random order with each question.

Darkness: It's Dark. You can't smell, hear, see or feel anything.

Click on [Taste the Darkness]

Darkness: You feel nothing, see nothing, taste nothing, and smell nothing.

Click on [Listen to the Darkness]

Darkness: You can't see anything, hear anything, taste anything or smell anything.

Click on [Feel the Darkness]

Darkness: You don't see anything, feel anything, hear anything or taste anything.

Darkness: There's nothing to smell, hear, taste or feel.

[Look at the Darkness]

Then in the Light. Click on [Wake up] to solve the puzzle. If you click [What a great dream!] the puzzle will reset. If you choose heaven you die happy.

This puzzle is inspired by the darkness puzzle from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy text based adventure game from Infocom. When text was text and graphics was eaten by Grues. The original was much harder. It didn't present you the list of senses to choose from and it reset if you missed one.
