It's about damn time ...

The Probulator room in open for business. It's not fully functional yet and I'm sure you'll all want me to add some more girls. Right now it's just Dr. Cahill riding the Probulator.

Dr. Cahill isn't completed either. She need a bunch of sex scenes to finish her story. 

And yes it's another fucking puzzle. Just fuck with it and you'll fucking figure the fucker out.

New distribution format

From here out I can't use the built in file packer from Tyrano Builder. I'm including the stand alone Tyrano Script player. The game will be a zipped application. Just unzip to any folder and then double click the "TheBigThaw" program. There's no installer.

Easy except for Mac. The un-packed version of the game needs a .command script to start it. But of course you can't run a command script on Catalina because it didn't come from the apple store.  You will need to use command terminal to enable the terminal commands in the command script ... not confusing at all and not even a little bit stupid.

MAC ONLY after you unzip the game open a terminal window and ...

chmod a+x Path/To/File.command

How to from Stack Exchange 

Note: Tyrano Builder and Tyrano Script are actually separate things. Tyrano Script is still actively developed. I'm just using the Tyrano Builder as and IDE now.

The upside is that the uncompressed game launches WAY faster.

The new game loads but there's none of my old saved files. Can I transfer old save files or do I have to play the game all over again?

Need both Randy and Leela to be at maximum lust or whatever it is where the red hearts with arrows are appearing. Then in the lobby you will see a sign that will say be back soon, then go see Leela.

Theres an option for your (slave) bureaucrat to give a hand job. Will that eventually be added? Seems such a waste for her to say she cant do it. Also would it be possible for the bureaucrat to change clothes if shes your slave? That would be awesome like leela.

OK that's weird the old saves should just BE there. The files line in your %localappdata%\tyranoscript\ folder and, at least in all my tests they just stayed. It's certainly different on Mac but I honestly don't know where Mac keeps them.

@Everybody ... Mac support is on serious thin ice. It's presently hell to make it work in Catalina and it's only going to get worse when Mac goes to ARM. I'll bet Apple makes the ARM Mac's so they can only run App Store stuff ... that ain't gunna happen for this game.

Yes, we'll continue in Tyrano in the Visual Novel style. I still want to do a 3D game but it's a shit ton of work. Someday.

Mac version problem - After unzipping the downloaded zip file, I opened a terminal window and typed: "chmod a+x Path/To/File.command" I get "No such file or directory"

"Path/To/File" means the path to the file on your system and will depend on where you saved it.

Got it. Thanks Brue. But DAMN. Sort of a challenge for a computer semi-literate like me. Good thing I'm highly motivated to get into the new release.

Works pretty well on Mac High Sierra. I would suggest anyone using Mac to keep a partition with an older OS on it just for Big Thaw (but not a bad idea for all other software and update headaches too. lol.) I DO GET AN ERROR CODE, THOUGH: ['The label：'CumOutC'could not be found" When getting BJ from Morgan and I try to unload on her face. Only happens in the close-up camera angle. Then "Cum in A " appears in white text and stays until I restart the game.

hey man great game. just downloaded V16 but all my saves are gone. im using it on a PC, i have all the saves from the previous version but i dont know how to get them to the new version. please help

I'm genuinely lost with the probulator. I managed to solve it the first time but have no idea what to do to get out of it. Any tips?

Update: I think i may have bugged the game but re-entering the probulator. I restarted the scene by loading an old save and i very easily solve the puzzle. Seems like the second one may be an infinite loop? Happy to help you confirm if this is a bug :D

Not sure exactly what went wrong but I saved in the middle of the scene. Would that cause me to be unable to solve the riddle? I was unable to get the messages saying I was calming down the machine. Otherwise I've resolve my issue for now

I do not speak computer and have a Mac, I have no clue what I'm doing at all. I've been trying everything suggested and followed the available links. I know it's been a pain in the ass for you setting it up Brue but I just have no idea how to get into the new update. have you ever though of doing a video tutorial for us simpletons? I just really want to see the most recent content, is the probulator and dr Cahill scenes in any earlier updates that have a shortcut?

There is never going to be a packed version of the Mac. The game has become too large for the packing software. And, it's only going to get worse with the M1's. In my day job I've spent the last 3 months dealing with that steaming pile and everything it fucks up. Tired of making excuses as to why software doesn't work on Macs anymore. #NOTWORTHIT

im completely stuck in the probulator cannot figure ou the puzzle to get out and my last save keeps loading me back into it any tips?
