PSA - Comic Shift and Rewards Shift (Patreon)

While I'm still here, I'd like to make an announcement.  I know people are going to hate me for this, but I'm putting the Spyro comic away for a while to focus on Pokemon-themed stuff. I'm sorry, I know you guys have been waiting for me to work on the second chapter, but I just don't have the motivation to work on it right now. 

Rather than cancel it outright, I'm just gunna put it away until that motivation comes back. When it will come back? I do not know. What I DO know is that when I work on something that has my motivation and muse going, my stuff tends to turn out better. 

So..with that, next year, I'll be working on a slice-of-life themed comic featuring my new main Pokemon pair, and how they go about their daily life. Rewards will be different now. I think I'll be keeping the request thing that I've been doing. Patrons seem to like those, and I'll have NSFW options open for $5 tier and above. I'll have to think about a reward for Super Emerald Tiered patrons too. So if you have any suggestions, let me know. This year...sucked. I'm not going to lie, and I'm sorry for my lack of activity this and last month. x.x

I'm still gunna use Primeleap for gallery sake, but since that website we wont mention outright has been deleted for good, I'll start posting a lot more often on Patreon itself (Though I will remain cautious with all the Nintendo DMCAs -_-)

A little disappointed about the delay for the spyro comic, but I understand. I do like your pokémon couple though.

For the super emerald tier I don’t suppose you could let us vote on certain things or aspects that you’d like to do. Like the theme of a mini comic or a decision on what characters would do, etc. usually I’ve noticed in other Patreon’s I’m in that access to polls for higher tiers is enjoyed a lot

Wasn't there a lot of art on the discord ? Also that's 3 comics on hiatus at this point. Really hoping you can get back to where you need to be. Its unfortunate things happen the way they do sometimes. You gotta do what you gotta do. Take care of yourself.

I can't work on something that I'm not motivated to work on. If it I'm not motivated to work on it, the art isn't going to look as good unfortunately.

mmh, tbh I'm not really sure. My interest tend to change so if I'm not invested in it, I don't think I'd do it

Yes I’ve always been aware of how particular your art motivation must be. I more meant in regards to whatever it is your actually motivated to do. Say just as an example your motivation is towards the current slice of life Pokémon work your gonna do. There could be a poll for the higher tiers like “should I do something with Marco or Rudy for this one” or “should Mac spend time with which family members for such in such stand alone image” as an example I mean. It may even drive up support led increase for that high tier l. Just a suggestion of course, you of course work how you work best.

..Ooooh ok that makes sense. Actually...that sounds like something I'd have fun doing. My issue was like..."Go back to drawing FNAF" or something like that. Something that I've moved on from.

Nah nothing like that. You keep polls strictly tied to what it is your interested in. That way Patreon’s feel more involved and it may drive turnout to the higher paying tiers and increase your profit as well as making it fun for parties involved. Whether it’s something adult like what sex position you should draw a particular poke couple or something sfw like deciding what game Ashlynn is playing with the children. You control it and make it fun for Patreon’s involved while keeping what it is your interested in controlled to your liking

Oh they are fun. Especially if your enjoying it as well as the other party and you get to really have fun playing with what you draw. If you want that could be a Patreon poll as well. Choose which characters in a group that you like that you’d get to mess around with. It’s something I think you can do exceptionally well if you have the desire
