Ok. I'm going to be frank. I don't know if I'm getting older, or if my burn out from this year has totally destroyed my motivation. But I'm contemplating just closing the patreon for a few months. Having to do commissions + patreon work has completely exhausted me, and it's not fair to you guys to keep waiting so long for new content. The majority of what I make on patreon goes to my student loans, and my savings. So. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

I'm sorry, everyone. I feel like I failed you. I appreciate your support up until this point. I'm really angry with myself.

I have the gay comic thumbed out, and almost half of the Hot Shower 2 comic thumbed out, but they've just been sitting there for a while.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I wish you the best. Is there any other ways to tip you? I don't really need content, I'm just honestly happy to support you without any reward in return. Especially if it's for student loans. Please take really good care of yourself. It's more important than anything.

Ah, thank you. ^^; I just really feel like I'm not putting out enough content for patrons that are supporting me. This year hit me pretty hard. Went to the hospital earlier this year that kinda fucked me up. And then I got COVID this Summer, which fucked me up even more.

Oh lord. You really sound like you need some deserved rest. I'm so sorry to learn that, really. From my point of view there is already a lot of content on your patreon, but I can't talk for the others. I do think that for someone writing/drawing 2 comics, plus handle the commissions and a Patreon, you are quite productive. Drawing takes an insane amount of time. I really wish you the best. And I hope that your health is better now.

I'll always be here for you Chimmy, but if you do close shop here on Patreon, would switching my monthly subscription over to your substar be just as good, or would I still be able to donate here? I've been one of your patreons since August 2014, and not once have I broken my subscription streak. You are a great artist and a good person, Chimmy, life has just been unfair too you the past few years.

I just feel like I'm not doing enough for y'all and you guys helped me out so much you don't even know. I just want to be able to give back as much as you guys give to me. I'd feel guilty if I took a break

Don't feel bad, life throws curve balls, and all of us are human too. Funny thing is, I actually see my monthly subscription payments to you as a means of giving back to someone who's been a welcoming and friendly host to the very weird odd ball that is myself for all these years. No matter what happens, you will always have my continuous support. :)

Sometimes the best thing one can do for their customers is to take a break so that they can come back even stronger later, remember, -your- health and enthusiasm matters too, not just the patrons

You are burnt out for a multitude of reasons. Don’t beat yourself up. If you need a break we fully support you

Slow down, take a break! I would stay subscribed even if the art I see isn’t specifically for Patreon. I’ve been following your art for years, so even if you aren’t filling Patreon I’m still happy I can finally give something back.

Hi-Brew

Been loving your work since 2014. And honestly impressed you managed to keep going with all the crap you've had to put up with. It definitely helps to take a break and step away for a while. And hey ya may be even more energized and motivated than ever. Its understandable that ya stop for a bit. Take the time you need for yourself

I started following you and love your drawing, you do you. Just remember we will always support you and your decision.
