I don't quite understand but in this mimi chapter it was shown what would happen if Fuutaro instead of joking about Naomi wanted to be one rich. And as for their father, they reconciled with him in the original series and it was through Fuutaro.

Oh, right thats why he was rich. In the official manga Fuutaro ends up marrying one of the sisters. The sisters are rich. Hence he lives in a rich place.
