I apologize for the lateness of this but I forgot how emotional it was...so on top of it being 2 hours plus of raw footage I had to get through that as well but it's hereeeeee, enjoy! Without a doubt Top 3 most meaningful projects I've heard all year. LONELY IS THE MF MUSE.

Mario

YESSS IVE BEEN WAITING TO REWATCH THIS!!!! i had so much fun in this stream 🥹

Jade

Oml I had heard the album, but this was my first time hearing the bonus song... wow. I agree with the people saying to give her previous album a shot! It was produced by the guys from Nine Inch Nails, and definitely has the rock inspiration that Halsey does very well <3

If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is a musttt. It’s not as sad and is more like Lonely is the Muse. Also, Lucky samples Monica’s Angel of Mine and You Gotta Be by Des’ree!

Crazy

I knew Halsey had a amazing scream after I heard experiment on me for the first time

Danny

OKAY SMASH!!!! I wasn’t gonna comment with a one-liner, but one song in you’re talking about the iconic Touch Me scene from Smash?! I must comment and give praise!! You a real one, ma’am. ❤️

Aaron M

The chat was so unhinged for this one !

Mello

The lyric that stuck with me is all the way in the first song, "My special talent...It's feeling everything that everyone alive feels every day." Yeah, this was masterful top to bottom.

Danny

Okay, I'm not going to lie. After the first two songs, I had to stop because I realized I wanted to listen to this album on my own before watching this reaction (I kept putting it off too, lol). This album is HEARTBREAKING and HEAVY but SOLID AF. I'm happy I finally found the space to listen to it because I didn't realize how multi-layered the theme of being an impersonator went. I am also now officially #TeamLonelyIsTheMuse because lordddddt that was everything. I Believe in Magic, Life of the Spider, and Hurt Feelings all fucked me up, I wont lie. (Sidenote, other than the Des'ree/Britney sample, did anyone peep the Monica "Angel of Mine" melody in Lucky?! Just me??)

Handsome Mahlambi

Oh you HAVE to listen to “Manic” and “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power”, these are the best Halsey albums (with The Great Impersonator) in a back to back trilogy but in your own time no reaction needed (unless you want to👀😂)

Handsome Mahlambi

“The World Keeps Spinning Without Me” being a double entendre bc yes the world will carry on but also her most popular song is “Without Me” and would probably be the song people play the most after she’s gone

Chelsea🤎

So happy you reacted to this. I started listening and couldn’t finish on my own😣. Glad to have you (and everyone on discord) along for the ride. It’s so good! never listening again🙃☺️✌🏾

cried through this whole reaction 🥲 if your favorite song is lonely is the muse, I need you to give us thoughts on her album If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power. LET ME EXPERIENCE THAT ROCK EXCELLENCE WITH YOU LOL.
