When this movie came out someone told me to eat and edible before going to the theater to watch this movie. I literally had a WILD and AMAZING time watching this movie. I laughed so loud and everyone around me was cackling. Love this movie!

I remember seeing this in theaters and being very black nihilism (still am but I manage it better) and I’m not a crier but this??? Broke me down, the sheer desperation to not sob like a child gave me a bigger headache than just letting it out. They got every bit of this and more. Stephanie Hsu, whatever you wanna act in, I’m buying a ticket. Fav part prob is Waymonds speech and Stephanie’s everything bagel speech. Favorite laugh had to be slapbox with them damn trophies as plugs.

my favorite part of this movie is actually a really subtle detail. in the beginning when evelyn is at the tax appointment and she's distracted, jamie lee curtis asks if she's paying attention and she lies and says she is. in the last scene of the movie, she gets distracted again but this time when the woman asks if she's listening evelyn says "can you say that again?" she grew and learned to take accountability and admit to when she isn't paying attention!

Ke Huy Quan only being known for starring in Indiana Jones and The Goonies when he was younger and getting little to no jobs in his later years because of Hollywood's diversity problems and then having a career resurgence with this role is a story that moves me so much. Especially every time I see his Oscar's speech I have to try not to sob. Ugh he's just so sweet and unbelievably talented !!
