This...was fab. I enjoyed myself the vast majority of the time, this is top 3 in her discography for me along with 1989 and Red! #BringBackMaxMartin, THAT'S ALL.

Hi! Swiftie here (a normal one I promise) lol. As a Taylor and Ariana fan I would say this used to be her Sweetener until Lover dropped. The general public didn't like reputation, but the Swifties did. We loved that it was sonically so different for her and felt like the right next step after the success of 1989. I do think you'll enjoy Midnights and Lover as well. Midnights explores her thoughts over 13 sleepless nights, but if you listen to the 3 AM edition there are more tracks on there. Reputation came out in 2017 after the whole Kim and Kanye phone call debacle, so she broke her cycle of dropping an album every 2 years, and there was a 3 year gap between 1989 and reputation. No one really saw her until she announced this album. My favorite tracks on here are Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Don't Blame Me, and Getaway Car. It was mainly produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with some being produced by Jack. I was cheesing the whole time watching you react to this :) I actually found you not long after you posted your reaction to the LWMMD music video and have been subscribed ever since! Congratulations on 8 years Maya! May God continue to bless you!

The girls have their usual formulas of music (except Bey, she likes to do weird ish (not a dig, she just has a great ear)) but when they step out of it and make a track that’s so different for their discography like Dancing With Our Hands Tied or bad idea by Ariana Grande or Crowded Room by Selena Gomez, they really pay off

We will have to disagree on Dress Maya, that beat is magical, it is made for night car rides, also I think why it’s a fav amongst the fans is because it’s the first of the solo sensual songs by Taylor, she has a better one on Lover but Lover is not as strong of a project, you heard her latter projects before rep so it is a let down and the initial shock of Taylor getting sensual isn’t there since she has become way more explicit over the years

Reputation was a great project ngl. Most of the track you enjoyed were produced by Max Martin and Shellback, the iconic duo. the tracks u didn't enjoy belong to Jack Antonoff.... go figure lmao

Call It What You Want is a grower, she is soft in love part of rep that she shows on Delicate, I think the beat not being crazy and staying stable really gives it that dance in the mirror think about your lover while disappearing into another world vibe, makes you roll your eyes and stick your tongue out when think of them while singing this

Literally every song you like was produced by Max Martin and every song you disliked/liked the writing but not the production was produced by Jack Antonoff 😭😭😂😂. I think they need to stop working together tbh - he works well with Lana I feel because Lana does more interesting things with her vocal delivery and layering whereas Taylor is more conversational and is mostly just a lead vocal with an adlib and harmony thrown in every now and then

I don’t think I’d say it’s her sweetener lmfao. Sweetener is experimental by ANYONES standards, Reputation is experimental because it’s Taylor experimenting 🤷🏻‍♀️ but anyway it’s so wild that you feel this wasn’t promoted to you enough cuz when I first started listening to Taylor almost 4 years ago, this was the recommended album, and it’s the album I would recommend to anyone who hates (or doesn’t hate 😆) Taylor or moreso has an idea of what they think her pop or slower tracks sound like, this is obviously a big shift from her norm, again; experimental (for Taylor). I’ve been waiting years to see you react to the Don’t Blame Me belts lol

It’s crazy cause Jack is excellent in his work with sabrina, Florence, the chicks, lorde, Kendrick, etc. but his stuff Taylor sounds both somehow both lazy and doing too much at the same time. But her stuff with literally anyone else is a whole diff world. (Also sabrina collab imminent on the new album)

I feel like you would like *some* songs on Lover, but if I remember correctly Lover had a lot of Jack, and I feel like you probably wouldn’t care for a few songs on it, but who knows? I also feel like you would like a bit of Midnights, but again, heavy on the Jack. Her new album she just announced is speculated to be produced by Max Martin and Shellback who produced your favs on Rep and a lot of 1989 hits so maybe this upcoming project will be something you might like a lot!

I think you would enjoy her 'speak now' album, it has elements of pop rock & country pop, similar to red but more distinctly classic young taylor. the reputation tour has her best choreo by far but other than that i would not say taylor is much of a dancer. my fav songs are so it goes, dancing with our hands tied, & ready for it 🖤

This isn’t wasn’t a redemption era this is a IFGAFUCK era. Kim had everybody calling her a snake and this girl used snakes in all her advertisements she was actually kinda savage. She was Mad as hell lol plus Kanye was feuding with her again! Calvin Harris and her broke up and the myth that she gets into relationship for inspiration for music started and Katy and her were shading each other bad on social media. Thinking back she would have gotten so much more grace no especially when the kardashians are basically hated now by the GP Katy is a flop so is Calvin and Kanye is…. Well Kanye lol

I think u would love speak now it’s basically red but Taylor wrote it all herself and I would listen to the non ts version because her voice is more sad in the ts version. It’s a project she wrote all by herself so it’s a lil unhinged so u might like it

taylor performed king of my heart with INCREDIBLE live drums, it’s one of my favorite performances on the rep tour. she herself has stated she’s not a dancer and “is a giraffe in heels” so she dances a little but it’s kind of funny, she has professional dancers who are fantastic! i did something bad is a full performance i recommend it and dancing with our hands tied is done acoustically where the lyrics shine a bit more. rep is my album, i’m so glad you (mostly) enjoyed it!!! ❤️
