Honestly, this is probably one of my fav episodes of Pose. Elektra's back story really does define the character she is on the show. Also, Dominique is such an amazing actress!!!! And to answer your question, I want kids for the simple that I want to raise a family of my own. Being gay, I can't necessarily have biological kids (surrogacy is illegal in my area) and so for me to have kids I have to go through the adoption process which is long and expensive. I genuinely want to help raise kids who have been abandoned in the foster care system and give them the life they deserve!!

Loved this episode so much! 🥺 Dominique is a stunning actress. I do believe the storyline with Elektra and her mother is really close to Dominique's life story and how her experience has been with her mother when finally coming to terms on who she was. Dominique has an Hulu episode on Youtube just explaining her life story, especially around the time when she moved to the states. They're all inspiring 😭 literally feel like my family.
