They need to gone ahead and mail Zendaya that Emmy now, cause bruh… There were so many layers in that opening that I was holding my breath the whole time. Rue is in so much pain. It’s eating her alive, under her addiction - and we see peeks of her under it when she’s not cutting off every relationship she has. She apologizes and admits how scared and hurt she is but then the addiction seems to just push her back under. I know we’re all mad at Elliot, but just because a person is a high functioning addict doesn’t mean they aren’t just as bad off as someone visibly struggling. But he’s right - it wasn’t his place to get into their relationship, but as a person who cares about Rue, regardless of circumstances, he was right to rat. Same with Jules. I did the same scream at Cassie! Rue said “Oh we gonna have an intervention alright” and let it flyyyyyy. The Midwestern Madam as I call her, knew exactly what she was doing. When looking up morphine addiction, the first thing it says it that it causes euphoria and is extremely addicting so it looks like MM is trying to set up a life time customer. I’m exhausted but I think that’s the point but I’m so excited to see where Rue goes from here.

I died when Rue asked Cassie how long she had been fucking nate. As soon as Cassie opened her mouth I paused the video cause I knew she was about to get ethered and Rue did not disappoint 😂😂😂😂. But this WHOLE episode had my blood pressure up I'm glad it's over. The next one has to be calmer right 🤣🤣🤣

honestly I look forward to your reactions because I've had to be intentional about divesting from reading Twitter discourse about Euphoria. I really don't understand why people call Rue a crackhead or say she was behaving like a crackhead despite there never being a hint of crack in any of the Euphoria episodes, among all the drugs they use. I just feel like it's a violent way of saying she was behaving like an addict. War on Drugs has really done a number on us if we can't get through a single episode without weaponizing "crackhead" against her. A little disheartened to hear you saying it in this reaction too, M, but ima keep watching

So … I don’t do well with needles … not in person nor on a screen … ngl I almost passed out while I was home alone watching the episode this morning … that whooooole episode was the most INTENSE footage of the whole series, in my opinion. Heaaaavy shit. This episode was so hard to watch. The moment Rue said Hey, Cass... I knew it was over for her. omg. And did you hear that scratching behind the padlocked door?? Laurie got people locked up. The whole family in danger. Also, morphine is usually what they give you for comfort when there's nothing else hospitals can do for you. It makes you numb and unable to do anything. Most people get it on their deathbed so idk what that means for Rue in the future. I'm so scared for the next episodes, but Maddie better send Nate and his dad to jail without hurting Jules sad ass....

Something I also thought after rewatching. All these birds that this lady has, some are able to speak. What if at one point while Rue was focusing on the microwave the bird said “ow/help”. I don’t know if im reaching here but if drug lord lady is keeping girls there then can the birds repeat the things they heard?

I just feel like Rue hasn't been there for just one night. I feel like it's been a few days. That's one of my theories. But also the real question is, where was fay. I feel like Fay is behind that locked door just because we did not see her in Fez house. The new clip shows a scene of her with a bag so I feel like she left or got kicked out and took a trip to that woman house, got fucked up and thrown in the locked room. You did hear scrathes from the door also.
