this was just so, so sad for olivia. The house preying on a very real fear im sure most parents have and making her slowly lose herself. just terrible (sidenote, i never realised how much younger steve actively witnessed his mother deteriorating, having more memories of her from before everything as the oldest, trying to help her and even that turns out wrong, then her dying with no explanation. and then luke and nell having to witness all of that in the red room, probably too young to remember anything but the fear. everything about this is just sad, god that house messed all of them up so badly)
