ROMULUS drawing!! (Patreon)

Hi patrons,

I drew a sort of ellie-esque Rain from Alien Romulus!! I rly loved this movie and I had been rewatching the Alien movies with my friends so it was very epic of them to make yet another one and a SCARY one!!!!

I really like a movie in space like as long as we aren't traveling in space casual style irl, then a space movie will not ever be outdated. Its like the only genre of movie that is always interesting for me.

Anyways I wanted to draw her bc she looks like ellie and I like to draw this sort of hair and I was interested in drawing someone in a space suit even though you can't see very much of her suit at all. Just the shape of the big neck hole is really great to me. I also liked to be able to draw sort of space clouds. Abstract space clouds and stars AND a xenomorph. Not THAT xenomorph.. thing, a normal cool one.

Not much of a process on this one, but I thought you may care to see the sketch.

One tid bit I thought to tell you is that the lineart layer of the final is colored! Its darker/warm colors on her face/head and more greens and blues everywhere else. I used a weird color-altering brush in the procreate "abstract" folder. fyi. Near the top. And I used some chromatic aberration on the color layer and added some halftone texturesssss.

ALSO - I've really been into lineart these days.... so much faster than rendering smooth imagery...more fun...

That's all. I hope you like! I really like how the background ended up!
