WIP - vase for me (Patreon)

hi fellas,

Here’s a little work in progress that I’m doing at the moment. I wanted to draw a greek vase but with stuff that I like. It was originally orangey like an actual red figure vase but the green overlay over everything was really speaking to me.

I’m unsure if I’m gonna render everything outside the vase smoothly or with lineart… I’m feeling like super low contrast smooth rendering. But if there’s one thing about me its that nothing I draw every goes as planned. This is the first thing I’ve drawn digitally in ages!!!

I was also super inspired by leigh ellexson and all of her vase/flower paintings. I fweaking love them tbh like I won’t lie.
