Doggy Dog Racing F1 Team - Final & Process (a bit) (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

Here is another artwork from my solo show of an imaginary dog formula 1 team. Although Motocat is my major racing OC, I felt that I morally needed to make something F1 related since that is the motorsport that I actually watch.. And I love drawing an F1 car and suit so it was destined. This is like the whole team getting the car ready in their garage right before a race!

The scale of everything and/or angles don't make perfect sense but nothing I make does so its ok. This is done in graphite and ink! I sketched everything out in procreate, transferred the drawing to paper, and did all the pencil. Not sure if I sprayed it with fixatif before or after the red, but the red is an ink that I applied with a brush! I did a test of this in my sketchbook to see if anything would smudge and we were good!

This is the digital sketch and tbh honest, sometimes I like the digital sketches more than the finished traditional version </3

This was the medium test, the upper one was colored red with copic marker and the bottom one with ink. Not only does the ink look one trillion times better, but it also didn't smudge anything!

This is the final drawing before adding the red!

And that's it!!!

This one is still available to purchase (original & prints) here:
